For now, things are resolved. My current boss (a great guy to work for ) has agreed to filter any and all requests from the other manager for projects, so as not to waste my time or over-extend me. And he knows more about the background of the political fight that's going on and I've told him that if I get pulled into it, that I will literally resign on the spot.

Pam, I'm just leaving work a little early on Thursday afternoon to pick him up. He is only staying til Sunday....I can't take Friday off, as we leave for Florida on Monday but I'm trying to get dh or ds to take Friday off so someone will be home with him.......I would love to stay home Friday, but I just don't want to overextend my asking of day's off.......gotta protect the proverbial butt.......as I want time off to head out to AZ. The new girl, who as a person really does NOTHING in impressing me....is already complaining cause she wants to go to FLA for a weekend, and wants to know why I have to travel back on a Monday instead of a Sunday...its like WTH? you've been here several months, and you are questioning what I'M DOING? give me a break...and the reason I'm doing it is the same reason SHE isn't coming back on a Sunday, to save over a $100 in plane fare and for us times that by 2. She ain't workin' on getting on my good side. I've not seen my Mom in 2 yrs. and she wants to know why I want to spend 8 days with her??? I'm getting like Bob, I'll walk out of this place if I get any more grief from her. It really is her and not my boss, so I need to chill out, I know, but people sure can give you a pain in the butt at times........she really thinks she has become the be-all-end-all of her position.....she needs a reality check. No one in this place is irreplaceable and that even means ME........sorry for rant/vent, she just made me mad this morning. I told you all she got fired from temp agency for testing positive for drugs...and my compassionate boss hired her back the next day So now she thinks she is "it".....

Asked DH about the getting the remote starter; he just rolled them big brown eyes and said "just wait & get it on the next car"...big mistake ; may pop up in the driveway sooner than later.

DS & the River Rats headed out to Canton to kick some butt (i hope); i begged off - driving 2 hours + to & fro just didn't float me boat tonight. Course, if they win; i'll be banned from future games.

I went to start steaks for ds birthday dinner, and my gas on the grill is out, so I need to wait for dh to get home to change it for me I really should watch how it's done....hmmm...nah, I need to keep him around for something

Dinner was a success, and now I'm stuffed, that birthday cake was what pushed me over the stuffed edge but it was GOOD...those of you still with little ones at home, treasure the times, doesn't seem possible my BABY is 24 today........and other baby will be 28 in 2 months.......

I may go lay down and watch TV...or rather lay down and fall asleep

i know you are all in bed but i thought i would just stop here to say how big of a LOSER i am!!! I am not a big enough loser to win the loser money though anyway...had a great time.

we are off early in the morning for the kids dentist appt. so i probabaly won't check in till later on in the afternoon.
