This is the last week I can hang at home with my kids; next Monday I have to start work. We are going to Five Guys for lunch in a few minutes. We didn't have Five Guys in Vegas and I'm LOVING that place!

Muffy, I'm glad for me too....I didn't think they would ever end that game yesteday......they made it way harder than it needed to be to come out the victor...

It will be over a year since we've seen my son & his family by the time they come in, so it will be so sweet!! Hopefully next year we can get back on track with visits when dh and I have accumulated some time off. I'm excited for us, but I think it's so important for my grandson's to get to see my in-laws, their health is on the edge, so I want them to be able to say they had great-grandparents and remember them.

Muffy, on a side note, I was watching a Flip Wilson show on TVLand last weekend, and the Osmonds were the musical guests...oh my gosh, they all had long hair and these "Elvis" type jumpsuits on and they were singing "Like A Yo-Yo" and just grooving to the music. Donny looked about 14 or so...too funny to watch.

No, not a chance we're letting MIL live there -- nor would she want to. Even when she was looking at "downsizing" from her current house, the place she was looking at wasn't really that much smaller, so I don't think she'd want to move into one bedroom in our basement.

I think we are heading to our county fair after the kids leave today...i was talking to mic last night about it....i am sure she thought i was a hick from the sticks!

Pam, you ain't no hick from the sticks Going to the fair happens around these thar hills too....I just don't care to go much anymore, been there done that...plus I'm not sure out your way, but it's expensive to go here...pay to get in, pay to park, pay to eat, pay for everything. Big name country stars usually perform at our fair though, so they always get crowds....not that IS hick, going to see country stars sing (just kidding if you like country music, I'm a rock lovin' gal)
