Mac, sitting in the back is a good idea, keeps you ready for a quick escape. Your son is in Mexico right? He must really have found some happiness there if he wishes to stay........I'm sure whatever is the right thing will happen...I know how much you miss him though

Gotta shower up so we hit the road..........arrghhhh me matey's, it is off to be seein' some Pirates in a movie

Morning all!

I was going to post when everyone left last night BUT....i was having a little trouble seeing the screen.... so i just went to bed and woke up this morning and got all caught up and now i am here!

I did go garage saling and got a few nice items but i have to tell you what i almost bought....i saw a bug zapper there!!!! I thought about buying it and sending it to one of you guys! remember the zapper????? I also found a few trolls and thought about our poor friend who can no longer be here I got aubrey some a scooter, some barbies that were hardly ever played with, some new toys for the daycare, and i can't think of anything else right now.

I have to go up to Lincoln today for my 3 month eye check-up...do you think they will say anything about my eyes being bloodshot from all the fun i had last night?!

mr mac decided he wants me to make chop suey for dinner.
that means a trip to the store
it's 91 with heat index of 96 right now. its a tad warm and sticky,
grocery store was not in my plans this afternoon.

then its off to church tonight for eve service and then go take care of the cats.

the ladies should be home sometime on monday.
i am wishing it was monday today.............this cat sitting is taking up to 3 hours each day for me.

yikes.

I'm home..........

Pirates......... We all thoroughly enjoyed it...tad long, but it kept moving....all 4 of us agreed it was good.

Eating out on the other hand sucked....we went to Ruby Tuesday's for a change and it stunk...we ordered drinks, I ask for lemon in my tea, and the gal says, "I can put a lemon on your glass, its not lemon in it"...ok...that should have been the 1st clue for me to see how this was gonna go, then we order and she comes back to tell dh that they are getting a new menu tomorrow and what he ordered (today mind you, and still on the "old" menu) is not available...that should have been clue #2...dh and I got soup and salad bar...salad is its usual, but the vegetable soup was like spaghetti sauce with vegetables floating in it, and it tasted gross.......so overall, it was a stinky meal. I like the RT's on the other side of town. I remember the last time we ate in this one, I said it wasn't as nice...so it's now a big X on my dining out list. But, the company was good ds and his girlfriend were fun to be with. She is a nice gal. They are coming back to the house to watch DVD's I think. They seem compatible and share the same interests, so there ya go.

Mac, glad the kitty sitting is winding down...it's a big commitment to animal sit...but you are a good person to do that.

Yeah, it is hot and humid here too. It was even hot in the theatre, they didn't seem to have the ac cranked up til towards the end. Theatre wasn't crowded at all thankfully.

Evening all!

I am back and it seems the dr. gave my eyes a perfect bill of health until my 1 yr. check up! He said I am seeing 20/20 and my perscription is still improving!

I am soooo tired!!! I have been running since friday night...i am ready to go to bed now but i will wait atleast another 1 1/2 before i hit the hay. I am thinking of printing off some stuff on mapquest so I know how to get back home again

Mic--i am so glad that you like your ds's gal! That makes it so much easier on everyone!

mac--you are ALMOST done with the cats!! That is so nice of you to do that for them! and thanks for covering me for another week

I got lazy....never made it to the parks....went to breakfast.....got a hair cut(all 3 of them) washed the car....went to the grocery store.....and by then it was almost noon.....and that meant NAP TIME !!!

Pam, stay cool, its sizzling here too, more the humidity than anything is the killer..

Gant, those blue crabs are the best.....if you like them I'm more of a shrimp or scallop kinda girl. Yeah, boo-hiss on that Ruby Tuesday's...if I feel the need to eat there again, I'll just go cross town to the other one, it is much better.

So, everyone, go see Pirates.....Pam, I think the boys would really like it
