Good morning everybody.

Bummer about the car Deena, they are always expensive to fix no matter how stupid the problem.

I agree with the year round school thing with just longer breaks like 2 weeks in Apr or so on.

On hold with Verizon what the problem Muffy?

ok i am here.

got up at 5:10 left the house at 5:20 and let the vampires do their work on me at 6:30................i hope you are all happy now......... :teeth:

for the special test of parathyroid, it will take between 2-4 days for the results. gee, i should have gone sooner after all, you were right.

i see the surgeon tomorrow for follow up. now wil lhave to make another follow up appt for tests results.

i should have listened to you all....

i forgot all the posts that i just read.

next time i will take notes.

going for a haircut at 9:30
maybe i will drop 2 lbs from that............

will be back later.
i hope everyone is doing fine.

mic, how are you doing? you should be sucking down those pills if your jaw is throbbing.......take one at night so you can sleep.

or take a swig of jack daniels.

Afternoon......had to finish my mass mailing this morning and get it ready for the post office...then multitude of other little tasks......ya know, the ones that the MIA person normally does...

SOOOOOOO....on hold forever with Verizon? Well, it isn't only them it's sad to say...every place you call you go through pressing this or that number and then wait forever for help  So typical of customer service today, it's a trend it seems.

Ok, back to Deena, sorry bout your car...just had a couple things done on mine last week...200 bucks, mostly labor. But, what ya gonna do? Gotta have the darn things. Hope it isn't too bad. How ya doing with all that rain? I saw it on TV, unbelieveable.

Mac, glad you had all the tests done, vampires indeed, but those vampires are looking out for you. Hope all follow-up is good news. Never got the pain meds prescription filled, I figured I didn't need it. It is feeling better each day. Again, love the fact that food in unappetizing to put in my mouth ;), it's helping with my eating habits. Thanks for sending good wishes my way.

So, some drop-by testers think we beat dead horses? Hmmm...not that I'm aware of. We all score very high on the tests..

Ed, whipping those Nat's again was such fun, let's hope we do it again!! :cheer2:

You know, if you think a thread isn't worth keeping around, why do you bother opening it up? :confused3

Mic - I'm glad your mouth helped with losing weight. At least there is one postive to come out of the surgery. That and no more pain.

Mac - how did the haircut turn out?

AWE..your poor sister doesn't want to spend NYE in labor. YUCK!

Actually she does. Any earlier would be pretty unlikely and she's hoping she has it before the 1st so she can claim it :p! Besides, it's not as if she's going to be able to drink or any thing, not that she would any way, usually goes to bed at 9 or 10 even on New Year's Eve.

Yep, for the second time. Jan 11, then 18, now 13. That's the official not-gonna-change date, Friday the 13th.

Wait, what's with the  ? Are you really asking? Or just making fun of my long explaination :confused3 :teeth: ?

AAHHH..That should do it!! Good thing there is a lot of us. $22 for an ice cream sundae is wicked expensive. That being said, it would be cheaper to share that than it would for all of us to get our own.

Good thing we share well here :teeth:

I took it to be a roll eyes at the doctors that can't figure out a date.

Yeah, I thought she might mean that too. But, it's really my sisters fault. See she counted 40 weeks from her last period which would have been the 11th, instead of three months back + 1 week that most doctors use which would have been the 13th. They changed it the first time because she was measuring a week behind from the 11th. But yesterday the doc said it really should have been the 13th to begin with and since she was only 5 days behind and not a full week, it is still the 13th.

OH LA LA...the kitchen sink sundae....and what a sundae it is! Yes, grab a spoon everyone and dig in......oh my, it is delicious~ YUMMMMMMM

Yep, took the eyes to mean those zany Dr.'s changing the date so much...and I meant to mention this before, but forgot (again, that darn server busy crap has me all out of whack) my oldest was born on Friday the 13th...and it was Good Friday also! Have since then always considered #13 a lucky number

Momma, changing gears here...but I know you have a dog that has a heavy coat. I bought an item called a Mars Coat King (you get size/#of blades by your breed), and used it on little Mr....it has taken out SO much of his undercoat and made his outer coat so nice. I can see no real need for a groomer now, just once and again for a good bathing and clean up. Won't even need to have her clip him. It was well worth the investment. I picked mine up from a cairn rescue group online, so I felt the $$ also were going to a good cause instead of some pet grooming supply store. Just thought I'd share. I bet it would work well on your doggie. Pam, it might be good for your little pooch too, doesn't she have a heavy coat?

The official word is my fuel pump is no longer with us and they want $800 to remove the carcass from my suburban and set me up with a new one :sad2:
When it went to shop mentally I was prepared for $300-$400. I almost yelled out *** when he said $800. LOL I dont think he would have really liked that.
Good thing we just had that closing not to long ago so atleast I do have the money.
