Afternoon, and a hot one it tis.....tomorrow worse

KS, sorry that our young officer is having a hard time landing a job. I'm surprised that after taking his course in law enforcement, they don't try and help with placement. I'm sure DC is a bad place to be the law..any big city is like that I'm sure. Has he tried correctional institutes? He might start there...the correctional officers for the county jail here make decent pay. My ds's friend is doing this and he gets lots of overtime...guess those jailbirds need extra tending... I wish him luck and hope he finds something to his liking. Sometimes even starting out in a smalltown as a police officer will help him along. I do imagine his age has a lot to do with it though....tell him a year can go by quite quickly in life.

I asked who left the toilet seat up.....its probably down the sewer line....OR under a pillow.........

I'm so stinkin' tired, I couldn't get to sleep last night and now I'm paying for it.......I wanna take a nap

Where are our other sunshine fellas? Bob, Ed and Gigantor......I do think Gigantor is out oiling up...all that metal at the ocean can't be good for a robot

lanshark - pretty snarky, I mean sharky ...btw, it's shark week on the Discovery Channel.

pam - you auctioning off kiddos? Try BOGO free, always works for me.

mic - patronage is big in our parts...the co. copper jobs usually go to relatives on the force (of which we are decidely not), including correctional officers. It's been less than 2 months but his age is really working against him. Most of his co-horts @ the academy were graduates of college & already hired by a police dept to get their clearances...he's like his mom, always doing everything *ss-backwards.

I told DH if we ever remodel I'm putting in a urinal.

went to walmart and spent too much money. so what else is new....
