Pam, loved the trip report...sounds like barring the few incidents at the hotel (ok, you will talk about those years down the road as a great funny memory) you had an awesome trip. So glad it all went well, you met friends and had fun. Oh give me some food porn and tell me what you had at Rainforest and where else you guys ate!! Yep, sounds like super trip, waiting for a few pics....


Pam & Gigantor, be glad you weren't here, it got might crowded at Tony's place and feathers were flying On my, the bed will really be crowded with you guys back...hey, maybe we need Ed to get out the old van that is down by the river and load us all up for a road trip

Funny story: On the way down to Dallas we kept seeing all of these Whataburgers....so trent and noah decided that they wanted to eat at one of them.....we have never seen so many of them....i think they take place of our Burger King's back here.

We ate at:
Saltgrass, Six Flags(nothing great), a cute little mexican place before the baseball game but i can't remember the name of it. In San Antonio we ate at Dick's Last Resort...the food wasn't that great but the atmosphere was fun..kids had a blast throwing paper at everyone, We dined with Shamu, and we ate at Hard Rock Cafe( just because the people we were with wanted to eat there...the food was awful) Oh, and then the Rainforest Cafe...i am sure there is more but can't think of them right now....



Oh and about it being crowded...remember bob saying that we will just all have to squeeze in a little...we will just do that!~

I've got an achey breaky back today - too much Jack Rabbit (double dip coaster) yesterday. Look like muffy's cowboy after he rode his steed too long I fear. Another great bonus of getting older, the day after rough...amusement park rides.

Those twin peaked pillow were scary. Who's idea of towel animal is that?LOL

pam - glad you had a great trip...deep in the heart of (clap, clap, clap, Texas). The stars @ night, are big & bright...

Couldn't sleep the other night only thing on was Urban Cowboy. I think John Travolta looks better now - Deena, is Gilley's still around?

mic - thanks for covering us today. My youngest won a razor scooter in the drawing @ the picnic (he already has one, somewhere LOL). I laughed & told him to sell it on eBay. He looked @ me & said he plans on taking a name off the angel tree our church has @ Xmas (where folks in need place an angel w/child's needs/gift ideas & you act as a secret santa). So glad to see that all those CCD classes are sinking in .

miz - when do you start classes?

I took a muscle relaxant last night (should of just took a shot of tequila), was getting back spasms...slept in 'till 10:30 a.m. - now, I've gotta Rx hangover. @ least I'm good to go better living thru chemistry.

muffy - thanx for the Monday update, I've been running on Tuesday for the last few hours LOL.

mac - when does your DS go back to school? When do you go back to school? How hot in Chicago today?

deena - hope everyone's adjusting to the new school experience.

pam & ocm - will be wading thru piles of laundry soon...my oldest DS has had a "fantasy" for years...to wear a pair of socks once & toss them. He insists nothing feels as good as a new pair of socks.

mic - according to the Weather Channel, it's hotter above the Mason Dixon line than it is in Orlando. Know D.C. is unbearable in the summer, suppose Baltimore's just as humid.

::cop: Jeremy was offered job oppportunity w/DC "metro" police dept. I'm discouraging that career track pronto. DH's family in Arlington (who could buy & sell us several times over) sez it's like a war zone @ night in some areas...other than the "tourist area", no one ventures in @ night??? Not sure if their looking down their patrician southern noses or it's true. Even w/the lucrative starting pay scale, I assume the cost of living would negate that bonus. He's getting discouraged, most of the local depts. have a min. age limit of 21 for new hires. He just turned 20...a year is a lifetime to one so young LOL. Think he's going to be lucky to get local part-time for now.

Had to go and license my vehicles today...yikes!!! Hate throwing that money away just to drive my cars for another year!

these hundreds and thousands of kids are being so dang loud today. can't figure out how to unlock my closet to throw them in...who has the key?!?!?!
