I was so worried about Nico who kept telling me he wanted to get off the ride, that I really couldn't enjoy it. When I go back, hopefully I get to ride it.

I'm not going back for a while, well August, but that is a long time for me.

We almost did go back in two weeks for a Seminar that Lee wanted to go to, Father's Day weekend, which happens to be in Orlando. But, I think he deicided not to go.

Deena is coming back I think on Wednsday or Thursday. And for the record, Matthew, her 15yo is just the sweetest kid ever. He was sooo good with the boys and he even played with Sammie. I really hope that Nico turns out to be as nice as he is at 15.

I know what you are saying about Nico on the ride, my gs was the same way on ToT in Disneyland, he rode it, but he white knuckled it out and when we got off he said, "I don't think I liked that ride". I was just so astounded that he even went on it and didn't chicken out. Pretty good for a 5 yr. old, and the same goes for Nico getting on Everest. What a brave boy! Heck, I'm not even sure I'm brave enough all the time to get on ToT. I have to really get my mind set to do it

Oh my, that is a break for you to wait for a return visit, you will be having withdrawal in a few weeks.......

Need to clean up the kitchen and then I'm hitting the shower and relaxing for the rest of the evening. We've been puttering around all weekend. It has been such lovely weather though, it's nice to get stuff done and not be sweltering in the heat. Hope it stays, but I know it won't

I think sweetlovin's going to get mighty sick of WDW - yeah right! I'm right behind you...time is dragging. Glad you got to enjoy the big kid rides. What did you think of Exped. Everest? I've got a bad neck & wonder if my head will fall off (would anyone notice?LOL). U's The Mummy just about did me in - had a headache for days after that one but, oh so .

DS got his name in the local newpaper today for bb performance. He wasn't excited but, dear old Dad was puffing out his chest. He got called into work this afternoon for OT, I would've told them "no" but, then again - I'm a bit of a slacker .

hope mac put in a good word for all today - do luv the popcorn smilie.

waiting to pick up youngest from buddies house then I can take a long soak, it's only about 50 here. If I ever hit the lottery, I'm buying a hot tub.

Evening all!

I haven't been here much today as We have been outside working...got a lot of trees trimmed, cars washed inside and out, went to the store and bought some water guns so the boys can play, bought aubrey a little pool since the boys will be able to go to the big pool this summer and she has to stay behind.

I did download some pictures and will try to figure out how to post them here...not sure how since they are in video mode.

I was standing in line behind my pastor last night before the recital and he made a comment to me that he was going to start having church on sunday evenings because when school gets out he loses about 1/2 of his church! Hmmmm....for some reason i think he was trying to tell me something! We are bad about going to church in the summer...i will be the first to admit that!

KS, it's always awesome to see our kids in print in the newspaper (as long as it's not on the Most Wanted List.. ) I have a whole scrapbook of news articles from when my son's played sports. Just pasted in a paper scrapbook, scrapping was not a big $$ thing back then.

I remember Alfred Hitchcock, those were some scary shows!!

My dh used to work odd hours and lots of overtime in his pre-retirement job. He seems to be a strict 8 hr. man now with weekends off. He will become an on-call person once he is more established in his position. It took awhile for me to get used to him being around all the time. Now that I work til 5, he gets to do some of the things I used to have to do all the time, cause he has about 1.5 hr. at home before I get off...see..there is justice at the end.

Pam, you'll figure out the picture thing...sounds like your day was busy too!
Good for you having a holiday tomorrow OK, this server busy crap is starting up again......

Off to watch Soprano's and also iron clothes, saved that for while I'm watching TV...makes the dreaded job go by faster

Wow, I really miss you guys all of a sudden . You all must think I'm a flake just popping in sporadically. Oh well . I do miss you. How was your meet? Everyone make it? Hey, I think I see someone new (which would make me "new" to them I suppose)! Mind if I mostly just read for a few days to catch up? I'm vowing to stop by more often from now on. At least once a week (if you'll still have me ). Of course if I wait a whole week I'll most likely have about 50 pages to catch up on . My keyboard is a mess (someone spilled water on it ), the "b" (have to copy and paste it) doesn't work, and I have to beat the poop out of the "n" to get it to work. So, don't mid me if I start "talking" funny. Hope everyone is well. Yes?

Oh someone else new! I think? I know some of you have more than one identity .

Mom, I still want to know how the meet was. My conference got canceled so I could have gone, but I was too poor. Or so I thought. See I was saving money to go to school in the fall. Well on Friday (after having almost all of my tuition money saved) I found out that since I'm soooo poor, the government will be covering almost all of my fall tuition. Yay! Maybe I can finally afford to buy a car? Good thing I waited so long to go back, if I'd gone any earlier than this year they would have looked at my parents income. Which really isn't fair, not like they really have the money to send me to school any way. Well, enough about me. So, how was the meet?

Anyone else up at 2:30 in the morning?! I am having a horrible time sleeping so I came out on the couch as I don't want to wake dave up..he has to get up at 4am today. So here I sit....wide awake...feeling like this actually I know I will pay for it when it is time for me to wake up...atleast I don't have kids tomorrow...or should I say today

Jules--the meet was great! It was mic, adam, adam's wife, and I...we had a great time! We ended up at the inner harbor for a fun filled day. I will let the others tell you a bit about it too.

I'm home!!!

I had a wicked fun time and the boys had a blast together. They got a little rambunctious, but in all honesty, with one bigger mishap and a few minor incidents, Nico never gets to just cut loose and be silly. I was glad to see him get to be a kid.

Also, with the help of Evan and TVT, Nico became MUCH braver than he ever had before!!! He rode splash mountain, Star Tours, Test Track, Big Thunder, and Expidition Everrest (he didn't like that one, but he tried it!!)

He also asked to watch Illuminations!! My child, the one that would cry and hide from the fireworks. The one that was afraid of Dumbo, becuase it went too high!!

I was so excited and really a HUGE thanks to Evan, Deena, and Tony for taking him on the rides while I waited with Sammie. I've never seen my child so comfortable. It was very exciting for me.

Also, a HUGE thanks to TVT, Deena, David, Matthew and anyone else that watched my children while I rode, Test Track, Everest, TOT, and Aerosmith. It was very thoughtful of you all to help out so I could ride some adult rides.

I just wanted to publicly thank you for the best vacation ever. I enjoy spending time with you and your kids so much. It's really sad when you guys have to leave. But I KNOW you will all be back. So until then.....I'll miss you all...keep practicing your mini golf.....NEXT time will be different!!
