I get tired of drinking water too mac, so I put those little packets in mine. I know, I know, you should drink the water straight, but at least its going in me. I try and drink a lot while at work, but then I have to use the restroom every 5 minutes and then I have to ask someone to listen for the phones...vicious cycle I say, just a vicious cycle

Wonder how our Disneyites are enjoying their trip so far? They can have the place when its hot, I just don't enjoy it then. I'm a winter/fall girl for visiting the parks. Did my time in the hot summer months and wonder how we all got through it.

mic- we went Febuary once and it was great.
We escaped a big snowstorm in New York at the time.

Unfortuntely, we have to go in summer, because I can't pull the girls out of middle & high school.
a few more years, then we can do Fall/Winter !

mac, after listening to the lady talk about her pool, i had to go to my boss and ask for $50,000 raise so I can get one too

Not too busy. Older DD has today off from school so she decided that she is going to shadow me at work. She is sitting in one of my visitors chairs reading The Da Vinci Code as I type.

Mac, I've not really "cleaned" the attic in years, I bet if I started going through stuff and throwing stuff out, I'd have 2 dump trucks full.....

Have you found my brothers baseball cards? He was mad at our mother
becuse she through them out or hid them very well.

Although if I find them....

He's just mad that I saved mined in a shoebox under my bed. My biggest card was a George Brett rookie. Granted he had some nice ones from the early 60's.

i used very valuable baseball cards such as babe ruth on my bike.

i would clip them on the spokes with a clothspin and have them make a neat sound when i rode my bike.



i still have the scar on my arm for doing that.

I did enjoy sitting on the deck...i just wish we had a door to come in and out from there instead of walking all the way around! I was hoping that the deck guys would come and put in my door today, but they said they had to finish up this other job first! Who is more important anyway?!?! They hope to get here tomorrow!

Noah's games got cancelled tonight due to the fact that they can't get the field dry....so now we only have a practice and scouts tonight


I am going to clean out my basement now that Malarie is here helping me....so far in the two hours I was down there I threw away 2 garbage bags full of stuff that the boys just thought they HAD to have....at the rate I am going it is going to take me 2 months! My goal is to have everything cleaned out upstairs and down by the 10th of june...that is when I am going to have my yearly garage sale.

adam--that is so cool that your dd gets to go to work with you!

ed--where are those pictures that you promised...you know how we all like pictures here!!!! I am glad you had a good time!

bob--sounds like you get to be a single daddy a lot more! I think you need about 7 more so when Nicole goes out of town you will really have your hands full!

Mac, my dh did the same thing with baseball cards, that is before they became a thing you collect, you know, when we used to actually PLAY with our toys and stuff. I had streamers on my bike handle bars..thought I was hot stuff.

I may try to ask for the dough for a pool also.....hmmmmmm....seriously doubt that will fly for a new employee

Okay, I was just outside talking to my parent who was leaving and this couple with a baby came upto me and asked me if i was having another garage sale this year. They told me that they came to my garage sale last year and bought almost $100 worth of stuff for their new baby that they were bringing home from the hospital that day and didn't know they were having a girl. She told me that they bought so much because my garage sale was so organized and everything was together!
I told her that I was planning on having another one on June 10th and she said that her family was going to be in town so she would bring them all over because they have lots of little kids in their family

I guess it pays to go crazy and organize!!!

Mac--that is my goal...my whole house cleaned and clutter free by June 10th...it will take ALOT of work but I do better if I have a deadline!


Ed--is that what I am suppose to do?!?!? I didn't know anyone would want to visit Clevland!!

Oh and I should get the best daycare provider of the year award today!!!! Two little kids that come here....mind you I say TWO both had ticks in their hair!!!! I hate ticks!!!!!! They are right up there with spiders and snakes!!! I pulled them out with a tweezers and a gallon of rubbing alcohol....then i put them in a baby jar, then a sandwich bag, and then two gallon size baggies...they were NOT going to get out in my house!!!!
Dave said....why didn't you just burn them? I said....i am not going to have that jar lid open long enough to stick a match in there....no way....i will soffocate them and then let the garbage people deal with them! YUCK!!!! I then had to call their mom and tell her that the kids(which were sister and brother) were NOT to bring their friends to my house EVER again!!!

i got up at 5:30 and have sat drinking coffee.

have to take fat cat back to the vet today

fat cat ate some food an hour before we were to leave and the vet called off the blood work. its for her glucose level since she is diabetic and now kidney testing.


this cat has 9 lives. she keeps surviving which is a very good thing for me.
she is my baby. the best one as she doesn't talk back..........
