Not much time to catch up as I have to get on the road again but thought i would come here to check in.

Trent's team lost 2 times yesterday, but play again today...it's like a round robin i think...so they play at 11am which leaves us to leave here at 8:30 and I have to give aubrey a bath yet!

Muffy - I have 2 Toshiba Laptops and we have been very happy with them

to the guys have fun BBQ and Beer Drinking have a good time with the Familys.

When we got back to the room they had a bottle of champagne and choclates waiting for us, we had breakfast delivered this a.m. we are showering now and heading for the in-laws for the BBQ.

Mac, be proper in church today, no falling asleep in the pew I had to make something to bring to today's picnic, yesterday all I had to bring was their child back to them Go to make icing and realized I had used all my Crisco so now it's a quick run to the grocery store, yet again. Hey gang!

Just got in not so long ago....been sitting on our deck

got home from Trent's game and I have to say.....my baby is finally out of his hitting slump!! he was 2 for 2 today with 2 rbi's! They won their game 5-1!

After their game we went and got the kids haircuts and then came home and i have to say....i took a nap i was soooo tired!
Then we had some company and they just left so now i am about to hit the hay for the night!

I will comment on everyone tomorrow but am to tire to go back and read 5 or 6 pages!

Happy Memorial Day!

Survived the party, locusts cleaned me out of leftovers - will have to cook today - darn it. Going to be hot, 1st time in the 90's since last August. Tossed & turned all night - DH was put on notice to get the window AC unit in or I'm sleeping on the deck (...hmm, that might be a bonus for him!)

Poor sweetlovin' - nothing sucks worse than the colorist messin up your hair! Would think they'd have you come back (gratis) & throw some highlights on?
I mis-spoke, I've only gone 7 WEEKS not months on last dye job but, even my kids have noticed my roots. I used to be a solid color of blonde but, a new stylist @ shop (who was filling in for my regular) turned me a horrible orange-y shade. Had to wear a scarf over the week end & manager fixed it the following Monday with foils. Have been going to her for years now & she's very reasonable ($85 for color, haircut; including a $15 tip) but, she really likes to party & cancels appointments frequently & has been getting sloppy w/her work. Very scary to try out a new place though...

Speaking of hair all the boys got their summer buzz cut w/my clippers this weekend. I am so cheap...refuse to pay for stylist to give a clipper haircut when I can do the same thing. I don't do scissor cuts though.

i wondered about that , glad you set us straight.


i will have 2 of my sons here this afternoon.
made potatoe salad last night, 2 versions of it, made dip, cup up veggies and will put chicken, steak and ribs on the grill this afternoon.
for dessert i cut up fresh strawberries , it's to go with teh cool whip and angel food cake.............i go for the cool whip myself and stawberry juice.

then tomorrow, backk to work

hey josie.....how's the laptop business coming along?


my house was not hot until i started boiling things on the stove.
first i boiled the eggs, then the potatoes and now the ribs.


i shoulld have done this at 6 am.
its hot in the kitchen now.


and to make matters worse, 2 of our fans died.
now i only have one fan for my bedroom with mr mac, one fan for the living room, one for the dining room and one for todd.

i need more fans..............


on wednesday, it is predicted to get cooler, think the high for that day will be 63 unless the front changes.

Happy Memorial Day

Very hot here too, and yes, I broke out and put the air on last night. Supposed to reach 90's again today and tomorrow and then cool off later in the week. Blech, I do not like really hot weather.

YIPPEE SKIPPEE Pam on the big baseballer. That is excellent 2 for 2 and the rbi's. Were you screaming in the stands!? I always loved when my son did something good and I could say "that's my boy"

Mac, you seem to be the kitchen queen today. I'm going to go down and throw some meat kabobs together for the grill. Think we will eat early so I can enjoy the rest of the day quietly. I did take a nap, but have been doing laundry. Back to the grind tomorrow.

Hope our Disney travellers are enjoying themselves. It has to be hot down there. When it is hot here it is usually hotter down South. But they won't care, it's Disney
