Deena - belated sweet 16 for your DS! Wait till you see how fast he burns thru the music card. My boys have been using limewire for (ahem, sampling lately)...not sure if you can copy to itunes though. Sound like a pretty cool mom with your cd titles (or did they buy what they want to hear LOL). Korn gives me a headache, the last "new" band I bought was the Gorillaz - I'm such a dinosaur...more of a Stones/GNR type of gal.

NE got it bad - hope FEMA's got some money left for the northerners if situation warrants it.

Teacher's back...no spitballs.

I still feel green, don't think I'll let the troops cook breakfast again. I decided to cook dinner last night after all - gave the boys a rest. Shortcake sustains me.

Have to take Mom for glasses this a.m.; hope she finds a frame she likes w/o trying them all on...I usually do.

It has been rainy and cold here too lately! Hope ed is okay with all the rain they got!


It has been crazy this weekend with all the running around we have done! Sunday School is over for the summer, soccer has one more weekend left and I can't wait for it to be over! I have 3 shows left until I break for summer, and then all i will have to worry about is running for baseball, coaches pitch, and t-ball!

Glad everyone had a relaxing Mother's Day...it was a nice day all around.

Bob, are you back in the real world swing yet? It's always such a letdown getting back from WDW.

Raining here too with the liklihood of all week.. We are supposed to go to Camden Yards tomorrow evening, so that will be up in the air I guess til the last minute....I hate to drive all that way and have to turn around and come home

Hope Ed is ok....I was looking at photos online and couldn't believe York, Maine, a favorite spot how much water they are under, and other places in and around Boston......please take care Ed and I hope you and your's are not effected much.

Deena, Shane did say it all and said it well too, neither of them deserved the title. As I told you, at one point, I was almost rooting for him to make it to the finals. I don't see the point of dragging it out to a 3 hr. show though an hour for the finals and an hour of reunion would be fine. Too much dragging for me...get er done

KS, sorry your tummy is still rumbly...hope today it starts feeling more normal. I bought a small salad for lunch today...I get so sick of trying to think of something to bring along......blech......there just isn't anywhere close by to go out to lunch (which is a good thing, saves $$ plus saves eating junk) so I have to drag something along or go hungry.....I sit on my can too much during the day, so I don't need to eat alot anyway...it's just not the kind of job to get tons of excercise or moving around. Oh, the co-worker is not here YET AGAIN today, so that is 6 days in a row she hasn't been here...sheesh....

Yes, I have the baby today! She has been okay so far today, but she usually starts acting up around noon so we shall see! I hope she will be okay today though....the mom said she was held ALOT this weekend though...due to mother's day!

Good Morning everyone, yes the flooding is pretty bad up here, luckily I'm up high so I'm not taking any water from the rivers but trying to get around town is a challange lots of roads closed.

We have 7.5 inches of rain in two days.

I'll be hiding on this beach somewhere.

Ed, so glad you dropped by...good news that you are in good shape. I saw some pictures of Woburn, Revere and some other Mass. towns...woo, they got a lot of the wet stuff. We had a torrential downpour about 45 minutes ago, and now the sky is bluing up a bit...so it is going to be whacky weather around here I guess. I'm sure we will have water in the basement.. it came down like cats and dogs.

micky4ver - salad sounded good, I had a cup of soup - rarely, am I not hungry. If you're lucky maybe someone kidnapped your co-worker...hand over the salad & no-one gets hurt.

ed may have beachfront property soon - that's alot of rain in soil that's not sandy like FL. We walked around the MK one day when they reported almost 10 inches of rain one June...had a headache from it hitting my head thru the poncho.

muffycat - I didn't know survivor was still on...is the bachelor cancelled yet?

the baby has been so far so good...i actually got the lunch dishes done today instead of having to leave them in the sink like i have since she has started!

Aubrey has her first t-ball practice today! She is sooo excited! I hope she participates..she is one of them who gets shy and doesn't want to do something without me...it should help that one of her good friends is on the same team though!

Well, had my teeny salad and a SB bar and for some reason I'm not hungry again, which usually I am after I eat........ Think supper will be light too, not in the mood for fixing much.

Yep, Survivor is still on, not sure about Bachelor, I only watched like one season of that and couldn't really get into it. Survivor this year was good until those 2 that made the finals came into the picture Now American Idol has gotten dumb too at this late date...so phooey on reality TV...guess I'll stick with Surreal Life, where they all are looney to begin with and there are no winners/losers, just a bunch of nuts co-habiting for a few weeks...waiting to see who implodes first.. Watched a few of the Coyote Ugly thingy too.......now that should have been my life's aspirations, to bartend and dance on a bar...... Deena, they were in Texas looking for talent, did you try out??

Forgot to add, that is awesome Aubrey is playing t-ball...it may be very good for her Pam so she will learn not to depend on you so much and play with others as a team...t-ball is so cute when they are little

i never go willingly to the doctor.........only if i am near death or to do blood work for my thyroid meds.

micky4ver - trust me, bar-tending is a crappy job (not too sure about dancing on bars though - I never got paid for that ); after I threw ex out & he refused to pay child support - as a 2nd job, it paid the mortgage. Did manage to meet the love of my life while on duty though ...the more he drank, the better looking I got .

mac - a "hot toddy" would probably do you good about now; be well.

I agree with KS, you need a hot toddy mac, that would fix you right up...my dh's aunt swears by those things...and she is 88 yrs. young and still lives alone, takes care of a house and gets around wonderfully.

Sorry you are missing your son, but hopefully it will be a worthwhile separation and he'll be back before you know it......

KS, how nice you found your true love in your place of work I have to agree too with the assessment of people getting better looking after tipping a few.... I remember when they would turn the lights back up after a dance was over........whew.......that was a shocker....made you feel like a mole coming out of his hole.......
