Afternoon my friends...........busy morning, good thing I checked in from homebase so you wouldn't think I was MIA today.. ;)

Butt cracker, is that like a Ritz or a Saltine?? :lmao: Hope tile man does his job well.

Bob, sorry it is raining, it has actually cleared out here, but now I see clouds rolling in again...still chilly round the edges.

Mac returns this evening I believe she said, but she has son to unload with college stuff, so we might not see her for days, buried in a sea of belongings

Ed, if nothing else, you and I will celebrate the win last night...as Meatloaf says, "two out of three ain't bad"...and I feel bad for Matsui, tough break :p but it is nice to have him out of the line up for a good part of the season, just sorry about the circumstances....

Pam, quit your whining....... Ok, go ahead whine....I'm sure I'll be back whining about da bums soon enough :p

For the record, TVT is NOT old...........he has become like a fine wine, aged to perfection

I'm still irked about AI........LOL.........and Survivor left off at a kooky part too........ :furious:

okay, I am crabby...I need that sign i saw in Baltimore...Crabby Lives Here!!!
This baby will NOT stop crying!! She has been crying since about 11am...i hope she wears out soon or it will be oneheckofa nap time! :guilty:

Ants? I don't like creepy crawlers in my house either! I'm with you...if i see them...i call the bug guy!

butt crack? I don't even want to talk about that....i saw enough of that last week to last me for quiet some time!

mac will probably be pretty busy putting her son away for the first couple of days! Hope he didn't accumulate to much stuff this year!

bob--just throw your family and friends in your unfinished basement! That way no mud on the carpet! :teeth:

So what are everyone's weekend plans? I am looking forward to doing what i want when i want...no games this weekend! Thinking about just trimming a few trees back and working around the house. It is suppose to be pretty nice here....upper 60's!

And the kids will love playing with the nailguns and sawblades down there too!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :teeth:

As far as the weekend, Cam's supposed to have soccer in the morning, but that might very well get washed out. Then, Ryan's party is around 2pm or so. Sunday, we might be meeting my parents out somewhere for Mother's Day brunch and then we're going to a hibachi-style restaurant Sunday night for Mother's Day with MIL and Nicole. :)

Hey, someone has to teach the kids how to use a saw and nailgun properly! :teeth:

Sounds like a fun mother's day!!! :thumbsup2

 Just checkin' in, hope the baby's sleeping by now!

I'd love a nappie myself @ this point, up @ crack of dawn to take DM to dr. appt., she's putting off bi-lateral hip replacement surgery by getting X-ray guided pain shots @ hospital every 3 months. Does seem to be working so far, hope it continues to...don't think she'd do the rehab.

Yep, we've got a week's worth of tv programs to watch...24's 1st on the list.

Youngest DS has an "away" bb game tomorrow that we've got to leave @ 7:30 a.m. - who makes these schedules?

Middle DS (officer Jeremy) gets mace'd & taser'd today - and he was excited about it.:woohoo: scary, isn't it?

Boys love to be boys and play boy games....mace, mud, whatever, it's what boys love.......... :goodvibes

I could SO take a nap...I actually put my head down while at lunch and took a power nap, maybe dozed off slightly for 10 minutes...not deep, but enough to take the dopey edge off

Pam, sorry the baby has been wahhhhing all morning, poor thing, she has to be miserable too.

This is always the longest part of the afternoon............so maybe I'll try and find something to do... ;)

My show got cancelled tonight so one of my friends and I went for a walk then our families went out for dinner....

Hope you all have a great weekend!

hey homies :wave2:
i have missed all of you.

i fixed food awhile ago and now i am hitting the hay.

i dread this weekend.

i haven't gone back and read what i missed.
i will do tht tomorrow but i bet ed talked ball

good night and sweet dreams

Welcome back mac..... :wave2:

Hey Vickybaby......long time no see.... ;)

I got up on the wrong side of the bed, so I'm peezy this morning :furious: but I'll work it around and get over it.......... :sunny:

morning homies.

well, i am running around like a chicken with its head cut off again.

had to drive halfway to chgo to get money exchange for pesos.
now i have to run to kmart for a mirror for son to take.

and, still have to do grocery shopping.

it is really good to be home.

i will check back later.
i did read what i missed but forgot what i read.
being blonde, it comes with the territory.......... :rolleyes1

Afternoon everyone!

I was thinking I had nothing planned for today, but forgot noah had a soccer game. They lost 3-1...Noah had the one goal so he was happy about that! Then Trent had baseball practice which i didn't know about...seems dave failed to tell me that until late last night!

Oh well, we have gotten some things done outside today. Dave just went to his dad's to get some things we need to do more outside work!

Mac--glad you are home! Don't run around with your head cut off to long....sooner or later you'll run into something!

Well, dave just got here so i guess it is back to work....see you all later!

Good evening all...

Seems everyone has been busy today...soccer and baseball seem to be presiding, and mac is doing the chicken dance......put your head back on lady, you look mighty funny running around in that conditon.. :goodvibes

I'm in much better humor than when I got up...I laid back down and took a nap this afternoon....I was awake at 4:30 this morning with a headache, finally watched TV...and around 7:30 fell back asleep, to have my great-nephew at the door at 8:30 and my husband downstairs saying "I don't know what she is doing up there".....ummm....I was sleeping and wasn't about to come down without at least running the brush through my hair...duh... :rolleyes2 ....so around noon I just went back to bed for a couple hours...slept the headache off and felt much better. Wasn't that a long story for nothing..... :teeth: I fixed dinner and then ran out to pick up a couple flowers for Aunt and my son's Godmother for tomorrow.....so that is done. Ran the vacumm and gave the dog a bath....so I feel like today was semi-productive.

Enjoy the evening my friends.....it has been a beautiful day here...around 70...a little cooler tomorrow. :wave2:

here i am..........

i finished what i had to in order to get things ready for later tonight.

my one son went to bed at 5 pm and i will get him up at 2 in the morning.
we will leave the house after i fix him some food. it should only take an hour or less to get to the airport.

i really dread this whole ordeal. i am taking him to the airport and sending him away for 3 1/2 months. he is taking his laptop so we can communicate. i hope he emails me as i am overwhelmed over all of this.

we aren't doing anything for mothers day this year. don't think i am going to get mother of the year award anytime soon. :rolleyes1

if anyone will be up and awake around 4 in the morning, i can call you and yak.
ok , ok, i know that is not a good idea.

maybe i will drive to pam's and tp her house. :yay:

Survived another hectic Sat.!

Looking forward to doing absolutely nothing on Mom's day tomorrow! Bought the food...get thee men to the kitchen & toil...if you make a mess, clean it up - I'll be off duty.

Mac, that's a long time not to see your son, don't envy you. Bet the emails will be fast & furious though.

Hope you all have a relaxing, reflective day tomorrow.:flower3:

hiya ks.

sounds like your day was good.

nay, not many emails. he will be out of the country and not sure if he can hook up all the time.
he will have some time on some days to use his laptop.

watch me get an email and he says, bring me home.

 scary stuff mac...hard to let the youngins' leave the nest. let alone out of the country...you're a brave one.

Sounds like you've had a heck of a week, time to put those feet up on a stool & have a nice cuppa tea (or wine) & relax.
