Mic I like Terry. I hope he wins. The others are idiots. I cant believe they are sticking with Shane after what a complete jerk he was to them. I think I like the older guys cause I was pulling for Tom when he won too.
I dont want to talk filling of gas tanks. My suburban holds close to 30 if Im on bone dry.

Anyway, Easter plans here are to make a big breakfast. Let the kids open their baskets. Then, we'll go out for dinner. Other than that, not much going on here.

I just found out that Dh is working from 11pm Sat night until who knows what time he will get home. So, I'm sure he'll sleep through breakfast and baskets.

Easter plans -- Saturday, we have soccer in the morning and then from there, we're probably driving to PA to spend Saturday and Sunday morning with my family, then drive back home to have dinner with DW's family Sunday night. Yep, guilted into driving back and forth on the same weekend to try to make everyone (except us) happy.

Bob that is how Christmas is with us. We try and try to please everyone and for the most part, it works out.

I think if we aren't in the philippines this Christmas, we will stay in here. If anyone wants to see us, they can make 10 hour trip here.

Ok, speaking of pleasing others, I was just informed that if my step father comes to Julianna's dance recital, my In Laws won't come. See, they told my husaband that they don't want to be here when any of my family is here.

So, i don't want to hurt my step father's feelings, but, my MIL has been saying for weeks that she would come down and visit the kids and she hasn't. Now, so far, they are planning on coming and they are actaully counting down with my kids on the phone. And my kids are excited.

Now, I was just informed that they may come to Nico's graduation instead. Here's the thing, my family has been to quite a few of Nico's soccer games and things, Julie has been working on this all year. Plus, they could catch a soccer game of nico's.

So, now, I don't know what to do without hurting anyone's feelings.

That's not tooo bad...could be worse!!! percocet always knocks me on my butt!!! I would rather here the kids fight! Thank god for dvd player in the vehicle!!!

hey, i thought the meet was this weekend..............

no, know i find out its next weekend.

i am using the computer in the hotel lobby.
it took me 11 hours of driving to get here.


and pam, yes, i am proud of you for the testing.

Momma, don't know the answer to your dilemma with the in-laws/out-laws and your side of the family. . .BUT since you asked....just remind everyone that they ARE adults, it is ABOUT the children....either a recital or a soccer game, and for the sake of the KIDS and the joy of seeing their grandchildren perform a dance or make a goal, they can all put up with each other for a short period of time....they don't have to be bosom buddies, they can be civil, enjoy their grandchildren and everyone can walk away happy, especially Nico and Julie when they have all their grandparents there cheering them on..and that is my 2 cents.... I'm not always thrilled with my DIL's family, but when they are around when we visit the kids, I put up with them and maybe they feel the same about us , but we all are friendly and civil...it isn't that long of a time to put aside personal differences and get along

MAC....you silly girl, thinking the meet was this weekend....guess what, the SURPRISE IS ON YOU....not us! Hope you don't mind, but I'll share...mac called me, she is on a trip and very close to ME.....she thought we were meeting this weekend and was gonna surprise US....

I didn't have many plans for Easter, but seems we may end up eating at my inlaws....yummmmmmmm

What a day, just got done filing middle DS's taxes (slacker!!!).

Real rabbits wear pink, although the one in the pic looks like he's panhandling...brother, have you got a carrot?

Percocets & nearly any narcotic makes me violently ill - figures.

My DH got his schedule for next week & he's working Easter (not even considered a holiday/extra pay). Guess we'll be eating late.

Tomorrow's our opening day of Trout season, I'm bailing to clean. Hope the boys don't bring back any stinky fish.

sweetlovin' - I always respond to that threat with "...gee, we'll really miss you...". Told the war-ing factions years ago to get over it. If I can stand to be in the same room & carry on polite conversation with ex & his tribe, so can my extended family.
