hey all!

I am finally back!!! Played in my volleyball tourney today....i did play, and didn't hurt myself again! I was pretty timid though and didn't put 100% into it...but atleast i know i can start working out again!!

Think we are going to hang out tonight, make it a family night! Rent some movies, order some pizza...you know the family veg night!?

Happy Saturday evening........I've been home a couple hours....put stuff away, had some supper and now doing laundry....THEN had to go out again, I bought the wrong milk so instead of getting up tomorrow and heading out again, I just decided to run to the local grocery store real quick....yeah, right....2 lines open........

I had a nice "me" day, just meandering around...got a couple tops clearenced out, so I did pretty good $$ wise....I need to return one pair of slacks...they were such a bargain.....and I can get in them, but they are kinda short from here to you know where and I think I'll return them... but that's ok...I got another pair that was almost as cheap....$12 and they were originally $49....

Ed, you are one tough cookie to sit around all day waiting for tickets....I snagged us 2 games in Baltimore when the Sox play the O's.......the stands there will be loaded with Red Sox fans, they always outnumber the O's fans....amazing.....so what kind of seats did you end up with and who you gonna see them play?? I'm excited for you.......even though you don't like Coco....

I'm tired from all this running around today, so think I will veg out like Pam and watch TV tonight. Pam, glad volleyball went well and you took it easy...good girl!!

Thanks for being our virtual alarm clock mac, I heard you ringing and was up by 8:30 this morning and out before 10......I heard ya ringing all the way 'cross country....The concert sounded fun, and so glad you enjoyed it! I love the songs from that era...........in fact, a guy at work the other day asked if I liked the Beatles.........and I said "duh, ya think".....?? they were OUR generation.......

Jules, sorry you got so little sleep...you need to post a couple new photos of your niece so we can see how big she is getting........

LOL Jules....a "me" day for me, just means I get to go and shop and look at what I want to see/do....not just groceries or errands for the house....

Pam actually hurt her ankle a few weeks ago playing volleyball, she came down on another gal's foot and twisted her ankle...it was swollen and sore for awhile, so she has been very careful with over working it so she wouldn't hurt it again....we fussed at her to behave

Glad you are gonna post some pictures of little Hope...my grandson will be 2 in March already........my time flies

I know all too well what a "me" day is . . . and I still say I have too many . I need more "other people" (of course, knowing me then I'd probablly be complaining that I was sick of other people) days

Yes, I remembered that your gs was just a few months younger than Hope. Wow it doesn't seem like that long ago that we were posting pics of their 1st b-day parties. How are you GSs anyway?

I got thru at 8pm and all they have left is crappy seats nothing I would bring my boys to for their first Fenway game. I found out on antoher board that people had 50+ windows open. I didnt do this because when I tried that with Jimmy Buffett Last year they bagged me with the too many links to their site and wouldnt let me buy tickets.

Ah Ed, that sucks big time about the tickets....those are hard to ace at Fenway, that is why all those Sox fan's grab up the tickets at other stadiums...it's even hard to snag good seating at Camden Yards when they come to town. They had that special online that was 2 days before the tickets went on sale (if you had attended a game last year)...that is how I got us some seats.....and they are upper deck 3rd base side, we actually sat in this vicinity last time and enjoyed the view...and each game still cost me $100 for tickets Come down here to see them play...I'll meet ya... I know that you want the boys to experience Fenway though, nothing like it....I'm so glad we went a couple years ago so I can at least say I saw a game there....we sat out around Peskey's pole....not so swift, but at least we were there

Jules, the grandson's are doing fine, growing like wild oats....the oldest is in K this year...he just transfered to a charter school, was having quite a bit of difficulty in the regular school with teacher and how things were run....there is quite a story behind the change...would take me too long to type it out...but it had to do with keeping them after school, not putting them on a bus, scaring great-grandma to death, then letting him leave the school with a neighbor without parental consent....so you can see where that story is going....... The baby is cute as a button and sassy as heck....takes after his father for sure.............

Hey all!
Had Bunco last night and I was the winner of 5 whole dollars. WoooHoo
But the food was good and company was great! And then of couse my friends teased me about my disney trip. I told them they didnt need to be haters they can go anytime they want to, lol.
Ed--I cant believe you spent all that time trying to get tickets and they just had crappy ones left. Sorry.

Good Sunday morning my friends....and after running around yesterday without my jacket on....today is chilly again and its starting to rain....oh well, good thing to be a depressing day cause I really need to run the vacumm and pretend I've done a little cleaning.......never enough time on the weekends to get it all done.....

Yes, it was pretty stupid what the school did that day, especially in this day and age...and they had been having issues with the teacher from the get-go...so hopefully this change will be a good thing. I sure hope so. Charter schools are more "traditional" with holidays, vacations etc....not the year round stuff. I'm not sure about the one he is now enrolled in though, need to chat with the kids and find out details. I'm just glad he is out of that other place.....I wasn't even there and when they would tell me stuff if made me angry..

Deena is gambling again......... and breaking the bank with that $5 win it seems....... Glad you had fun and tell those Disney haters to get over it.......you have some Disney lovers you hang with too and we'll beat them up or for that matter, MAKE them go to Disney 10 times in a row!!

I actually got a belated b-day gift last night from one of them and it was mickey head toe ring. Very cute! She got me red and black ones.

Ed, I just read the "52 window" thing.......now that just isn't right How in the heck do you accomplish that anyway? I can see I'D never snag a ticket if that is what you have to do....seems a little unfair too.....but that is just me I guess
