My mom lives in a MIL addition to my home (and has for the last 19 years). She's "old school" and was floundering when my Dad passed on.

I tell myself every day that I'm blessed to have her close...usually under my breath.LOL
Cranky, youngest DS just drug himself out of bed, must be embracing the idea of being a teenager..oh, goodie!

hey all, home from church and you all are covered for another week.

1983 deena..........good to know you graduated from high school.... :wave2:

same year one of my sons was born.
a very good year.

gotta do the grocery store thing soon. they guys for some reason get hungry in the evening. i don't know why that happens, they all ate lunch today.

will be skipping around for awhile before i head out.

early dinner so i can make it back to church tonight.

I'm Class of 83 also.
Friday went to Queen/Paul Rodgers concert.
Saturday got tickets to Jimmy Buffett, hung around In-laws house.
Sunday got home did yard work signed Chris up for Cal Ripken Baseball now watching BC/Duke Basketball game and Red Sox baseball.

Hi all......man, Ed is the dude this weekend.......... :cool1: Sounds like you had a good one

hmmm...1983...that is when my youngest was born

Our little gal went home around 11 and then we loaded up the dirty clothes and the dog and headed to MIL's to do laundry....I dried some there, but brought most of it back to dry here.......blech...........

Not much else on my agenda....I'm making spaghetti sauce, so that is what we will be doing for dinner.......I may go watch some TV and enjoy what's left of my weekend.........then put all these stinkin' clothes away

Glad you had a good visit with your mom Momma, and Deena, get scrappin' :p and mac, you are so kind, always keeping us "in" good standing come Sunday...

Pam, you guys must have shopped til you dropped.........hey, no shame in being ready for bed at 10, I'm lucky some nights if I even make it til 10 without falling asleep......

i thought the dog mac was a male so i was confused when you were talking about the little girl.

for some reason i thought you were referring to your doggy about the shopping and being cutsie the way you talked.

is the girl the one you had babysat before? is that waht you were talking about.

and keisha.........you must have lived with / around your mom most of your life.

i would go nuts if i did that...........
dont' have any mil issues as i never see them. last time i did see her was 15 years ago

come play before i have to leave for church tonight.......

Dropped youngest DS off @ CCD, Sunday seems to be a popular day for laundry.

Anyone geared up for the new season of Sopranos tonight? Behind on my tv, still haven't watched last week's episode of 24 either.

Yep, I've never been alone - always someone lurking around (not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing?)

ed--you got a lot accomplished this weekend!!!!

I just got up from a nap  watched harry potter...yep...i did a big fat nothing today...and you know what? I am going to continue that as some of my shows are on tonight!!!

KS...I'll be watching Soprano's....so we can compare notes.......... :thumbsup2 I've watched it since the get-go

after church had to pick son todd up from work. he is working all week and this is his spring break from school. boy, does he complain about having to work and not lay around the house all week and hang out with friends.

life is tough.........eh

i have watched sopranos from the get go.....now no hbo so i best get my soprano news from you guys.
so sad..........i love that show.

but, american idol is this week and my fave shield.........

stormy bad here, might not be able to stay on long. lights now are flickering.

if i leave, its because of no power.

just don't talk about me if i am gone.
but if you do, talk about me in a fun way......... :smokin: and :woohoo: and :drinking1

Morning Everyone!!!

I have a lazy day today. The rest of the week is going to be busy, so, I'm going to enjoy today while I can.

A bright & cheery Monday to you merry band of testers (too much coffee already!).:goodvibes

Was worried as to Sopranos last night, thought it'd be a snooze until the last 15 minutes - eeek.

WTH is the appeal w/sushi? Give me red meat (that moos when you stick your fork in it:thumbsup2 ). Got to keep mtblujeans in business...has she gone missing again?

morning all.

it's another

ugh...........

not working today. today is a day of errands.......

one kid to the doctor and one kid to work.

where's my coffee adam???

where's my rise ed????

where's my report on the sopranos mic and keisha???

Im not a big red meat fan. I like some salads and I like chicken. Every once in a while I crave a hamburger, I think that is for the iron.

No fish at all for me. I'm allergic and that stuff stinks!!!!

Good Monday morning........wow 3/13 already...time flies...but it is Monday again :sad2:

I agree, Sopranos last 15 was very intense....... :scared1: of course, these type of episodes are what always have kept me hooked....some weeks I say "why am I watching"...then some awesome episodes like last night come along and I KNOW why I watch......and I saw where "Deadwood" is starting up again in June :cool1: I've certainly learned some colorful language watching these HBO shows... ;) :teeth:

It is supposed to hit 80 today...YIKES...then get cooler again later in the week, no idea what "cooler" means.......of course compared to 80 anything less is cooler.

Felt like a heel this morning putting doggie in his crate when I left home...this is the first time I've had to do it, as all 3 of us are gone during the day this week.....but he goes in so easily. We just say "time to go nighty night" and in he goes. I always give him a treat for being so good about going in. I still feel like a bad doggie mommy......
