Adam I know what PITA's they can be. Here in Texas we get nasty grams every time the kids miss school. They send letters telling us how we can be taken to court No vacation days are considered excused.

when i posted last night about the absentism for students in our district, those numbers reflect unexcused absence. a doctor's note always is an acceptable excuse.

Good thing it is nekkie day.........cause don't ask me how (I do know the "why"...I'm always rushing about) but I forgot my wedding rings and watch today...I FEEL naked without........I always hope nothing happens to me today, cause I would feel awful without those rings with the direct line to my heart......

Mac, I heard them say on AI last night that there is one more night of try-outs and then on to Hollywood....dogg My gosh, weren't they all pretty much horrible last night and the girl they let come back 30 minutes later... Deena, you gotta teach those Austinites how to sing....

So we need a rollcall today, lots of people MIA......I miss those that are away....although Bob is taking a vacation of sorts, so I'm more envying him right now....

Update........ the principal got my letter this morning and after a 5 minute phone conversation, Asher is now down to 5 unexcused absences instead of 10 and I have managed to avoid doing time in Sing Sing Prison!

Anyway, thanks for the support from all of you. I knew it would work out in the end but I just wish they had taken my word for these things in the beginning.

Must be a thing with my computer today...trying to get on to make a payment for my athome stuff and can't seem to get on!

Oh and I am about to buy my airfare for baltimore!
I think i am going with southwest:

Depart Kansas City (MCI) at 12:30 PM
Arrive in Baltimore (BWI) at 3:55 PM
Return Apr 23 Sun 1 BWI-MDW-OMA Depart Baltimore (BWI) at 12:20 PM
Arrive in Chicago (MDW) at 1:15 PM
Change planes in Chicago (MDW) departing at 2:45 PM
Arrive in Omaha (OMA) at 4:10 PM


I am liking the non stop flight and wanted it coming back too, but everything is booked in the hours that i wanted!
I also decided to fly back into omaha so dave would only have to drive an hour to pick me up instead of 2..that is alot for him to be on the road in one weekend!

Adam, glad it worked out, but you shouldn't have had to go through that to begin with.... oh geez, Adam, did you know that mac almost got put in jail for her behavior on the computer at the library one time??? One jailbird on the thread is enough, so glad Sing-Sing will not be opening its gates to welcome you. I swear, doesn't it feel like that at times when dealing with the schools...that you are a criminal first and guilty, before you are a parent?? And heck yeah, WDW is a wonderful education in itself....look at all the countries you can visit and teachers like kids to learn patience...what better place than in a 45 minute wait line for a ride
