Yes, DH will be turning the big 5-0 this month...of course, I'm much younger:rolleyes1 .

He keeps telling me how much pension & social security he's looking forward to @ retirement. Don't have the heart to question the stability of either...some things are better left unspoken.

On a lighter note, we're going to WDW in Oct. for MNSSHP. Now, I've seen sweetlovin's costumes and she looks great. I'm debating on buying a Minnie Mouse costume to wear. Unfortunately, it's red with puffy sleeves & giant white polka dots & very full June Cleaver-type skirt. Not sure if I've got the nerve to wear it....could only imagine how large my butt would look...minnie got "back".

came home from school then went to curves now home and ate the entire tin of cashews..........couldn't help it i was hungry.

gee, i hope no one here dies.
i don't know the last name or where to send a card to for the family.

i always send out cards, it is the proper thing to do.

keisha what are you mother land dates?
will it coincide with deena, ocm , me?
i know you answered before but that's too much effort to go back and reread 100 pages........

mac - everyone knows exercise makes you hungry:) kudos for keeping up the pace!

I think I just miss yunz guys...10/08 thru 10/15, mnsshp on 10/12. You planning on wearing a costume @ WDW?

Still on the fence for U, HHN...not sure if we're going to buy the U AP's or not.

I think Minnie Mouse would be a cute costume...join mac at Curves and you won't have to worry about your caboose... ;) :goodvibes Between now and then, you can find plenty of costumes I'm sure....

I'm going to try and get most of my weekend laundry done tonight, so I don't have to think about it again for a couple days....I need to hit the grocery store tomorrow, and then also the card shop for Mother's Day cards...stuff just creeps up on me anymore and I'm not prepared :sad2:

i really don't look forward to mothers day at all this year.
wish it would disappear from the calender for 06.

yea, come join me at curves.

i never thought it was possible that i could enjoy the exercises. just some machines and walk/run pads that you spend 30 seconds on then move to the next one.

in 4 weeks i have lost 9 inches and 5 lbs.

i really don't know how i can top that though and it is driving me nuts.
every 30 days you have to weigh in and get measured.

yea, exercise makes me hungry...........

Minnie Mouse would be very cute Keisha.

I have a story about living dead people. It's no secret that my extended family is very religious and very Catholic. Well, at mass, they read off a list to pray for recently deceased parishoners or family of them.

Well, my grandmother was sitting in church when they read her name off. :rotfl2: People started scooting away from her. She did finally correct it.

Then, for my grandfathers 70th birthday, we had a special mass done before we went and celebrated. Well, I guess the presiding preist didn't fully get that my family would hold a mass as part of a birthday celebration. So, about halfway through the homliy, with all of us having tears streaming down our face from laughter, my mom had to stand up and tell the priest that it was not a memorial mass and explain that my grandfather was sitting right there in the pew as well.

My grandfather actaully sat through his own memorial mass. :lmao:

Hey Mac - yes I have a busy weekend. I am dropping my car off first thing in the morning. I went to have the oil changed and they found that the axle boot was gone and the axle was already damaged. They said the whole thing needed to be replaced.

(If I sound like I know what that means..remind yourself I'm blonde :rotfl2: )

Nico has a soccer game at 9am. Then I guess the outlaws are taking my kids shopping, again. Nico wants a new playstation so Im sure they'll run right out and buy him that tomorrow. At least I dont have to pay for it.

They will leave tomorrow night :thumbsup2

Then Nico has a 5pm bday party on Sunday.

Hey that would be wicked fun for you!!! What do you have planned for the big day?

momma, i know nico will do great at the game.
have the gparents take a camera and make nico feel like a star player !

i started to get very impressed over your car knowledge.......
i know cars, i can put gas in them and clean the windshield, and that is a yucky job, i could break a nail doing that.

hope it has been a lovely visit with the inlaws.
i say give them a list of stuff they can buy the kids

keisha, i remember the #50, seems like yesterday.
i think you should entertain him on his bd.........do it in style :rolleyes1

and a very good saturday morning to all of you !

mr mac left at 5 this morning to go camping over night 4 hours north of here
he'll be back sunday night.

so it is only myself and one son here for the weekend.

i am getting things ready for him as he has 7 days left with me.
next wed, going to mom's to look under her bed for her, then thursday go get todd moved home from the college dorm. then i will have a son home with me.

this is the son that picks up after himself.
out of the 4, he is the only normal one.

i always say have a lot of kids and it lessens your chance of living in a nursing home someday.

i'm back from curves and once i change i have to hit the bank and do some errands.

i'll come back and check in to see which homies are here.

hope all of you have a great weekend

morning all!

Had a soccer game this morning......now I am off to do some athome stuff, go get some stain, then i have to actually use the stain . Trent has a 2 ballgames today so we will be heading to Lincoln for that.

Tomorrow I will be busy working to try to get things to where they need to be for the deck guys on monday. OH, how I can't wait till this is all done!

Have a good weekend everyone!!!

mac - I've already got some off-base ideas for the minnie costume...plan on putting it to good usepuckerup: at our age we need all the excitment we can muster. All I need now is a pair of red fishnet stockings:goodvibes Impressive Curves testimonial - you go girl!

Ordered the costume yesterday, told DH it was for his 50th bd. He laughed & told me that was last year:blush: but, took it as a compliment. He's so darn happy that this means we're not going as donald & daisy. Think I'll dress him & way-too-cool ds as pirates, yo-ho!

sweetlovin - your mass stories were hysterical...nothing like being an active participant in your own funeral mass...beats the heck out of the alternative.

micky4ver - the laundry queen! I went shopping all a.m.; mine's still languishing in the basement I fear. Maybe it will do itself if I leave it alone long enough.

2nd bb game tonight, get work the concession stand (I despise handling nacho cheese - gross!) so glad DH will be working w/me. It's supposed to drop into the 30's tonight; poor kids will be freezing by the end of the game (9:30 p.m or so).

a good weekend to all!

Afternoon...just a quick hello to let you know I'M NOT dead...unlike some other family members you guys have talked about :goodvibes

Went to town for some QUICK errands...yeah, right :sad2: Did buy a new gas grill and ds and dh are assembling it, I'm staying away from that area until they say it is done....we are going to have some cookout food tonight! I've not had a grill for several years now, been wanting one, just didn't get around to replacing the old worn out one. I had some loonies at Lowes that had to put it in the van for me....... :rolleyes2 took them forever to do it...I got ticked, they loaded someone up before me that had checked out way after me and I'd been standing there waiting...........grrrrrrrrr :furious: Then raided the grocery store...bought goodies for cooking out...will be so much easier in the evenings and less cleanup...

Have fun everyone at soccer, baseball, curves, staining, shopping and whatever :sunny: :wave2: Oh mac, enjoy your quiet time without mr. mac...you and son can eat whatever you like.. :goodvibes then go run it off at Curves tomorrow or Monday :p

yes, so nice not having the gestapo mr mac here today and tonight. :rolleyes1

son and i ate at a chinese buffet in town. all my hard work at curves this morning down the tubes i believe. i just came back from an hour walk.
trying to repair the damage i have done at noontime.

did do the laundry and vaccumming, that should hold the health department away for the week..

working monday and tuesday and then taking off to see the folks down st louis way on wed. on thur will head out to western illinois to help pack up the toddster. we will get home late friday night. then on sunday, mother's day take one son to his new home. it will be a very long four months for us.

i will be able to sleep more after that and start to relax hopefully. it is not an easy thing. i am sure that first week i will wake up at night and wonder.

it is nippy here. wind is blowing and is cold. i hear monday will bring out the sunshine again. :sunny: yaaaa, come on mr sun, we missed you !!

will check back in later.

what to make for dinner...........that is the question for tonight.

maybe i could do a chalupa run.
yea, that sounds good.

should i pick some up for you?

hope everyone did good at their games today

youu guys made me tired just reading all your plans.

i went Kohl's and spent too much.

it was embarrassing when a worker carried the bench to the car for me
and it was full of junk and barely fit
