Deena--i know what you mean about your house cleaning! I think is what that means is that your house is so sparkling clean that you can not tell where you cleaned and where you didn't!!! works for me!!!

adam--have fun on your shopping spree! You will have to report to us what you final bill was and how much you ended up getting!

mic is still in bed being lazy as she calls it and.....

Good Christmas Eve Eve.....

I've been up, just getting around to hitting the keyboard...dh has taken his brother and his 2 daughters for a quick mall trip...I need to shower up and go pick up my sausage for breakfast.........

Oh Adam, I'm so sorry for your friend, as Deena and others said, give the little one an extra hug from me....how sad....and let us know how the shopping extravaganza goes..........you are Da Dude that is for sure!!

Kild is our resident comedian.....love that guy and those one liners...he can always put a smile on my face....

Girls, cleaning like a banshee, and then on Christmas day its all messed up again and by then I'm like who cares???? I'm just going to do a little bit today and I'm done........I want to enjoy the weekend....we are doing dinner at MIL's house on Saturday, then dinner with SIL's family on Sunday, so my cooking is going to be stress free!!! And breakfast on Christmas is pretty much my hubby's baby, he does the cooking and I clean up.......with help from those that eat here....

Well, gotta hop into the shower........ya know a gal has to look good to go the the meat market.......

Hey, baseball can be talked about in December Adam....hot stove and all that stuff.......yes, you and Deena rooted for the Astro's....I DID TOO....but look where it got us... My son bought tickets for the World Baseball whatever when they play in Phoenix, so he is excited he will see a lot of players.....he is quite excited about it......

pam: send your in laws a floral arrangement by ftd. i sent to my mil and mom the thomas kincaid floral arrangement this year. well, did it this morning and it will be there at noon.

adam: kyle is in my prayers as his father is. you are a good man charlie brown. a real keeper here.

ok, came home from Bible study last night, did the dishes and finished the tree. then did laundry and went to bed. got up early this morning and just looked outside watching birds and squirrels. have no desire to do anything today. will start the cookies maybe tonight and shop tomorrow. just another downer day here. have to take one son to work at noon, so cant start the cookies now. won't have enough time.
thinking about doing the cards sometime today. my brother in hawaii keeps calling me twice a day. he probably will be calling today in about a couple of hours. he has great weather, 83 degrees and no snow. some people have all the luck !!

I have to. My grandma is spending the night Christmas to eve to see the boys open their stuff Christmas Day, after that we eat here. Then we are going to David's aunts house to see that part of his family---then mil/fil, bil/sil niece and nephew are coming here for round 2 of gift opening. Sooooo my house needs to looke like I clean it on a regular basis

Then we are going to David's aunts house to see that part of his family---then mil/fil, bil/sil niece and nephew are coming here for round 2 of gift opening. Wow, i think your holiday sounds crazier than mine! We will open presents here on christmas day and then have to leave to go to my mom's for my dad's side so can you imagine how my house will look when we return!?!?! It won't be pretty!!!!!!! Atleast no one will see it!!!

hmmmm.....never heard of one of those programs....my only suggestion is next year start in july...or better yet...leave your tree up year round! isn't it a holiday tree after all?!?! you can decorate it for valentine's day, easter, Memorial day, 4th of july, labor day, halloween, thanksgiving, and again at christmas time!!!

deena, if your grandma is old, maybe she doesn't see very well.
then she won't notice if your house isn't as tidy as you want it to be.


but if grandma is young and doesn't wear glasses, have the littles keep her busy so all she will notice is the boys............

Afternoon friends.............as I sit here yawning............I need a nap...

Not much happening....we have settled down and I think I'm just going to veg out til Christmas morning.....dinner tomorrow evening will be nice and then its home to just do nothing

well, i didn't go out and do any shopping yet.
maybe tomorrow or else i will give the sons IOU's in their stockings....




do make the cookies for todd to take to work tomorrow and made a small batch for home.


wow.......i didn't believe i would ever get those cookies done.
i am so happy i finally did something productive today.


i think when deena gets done doing her house, i will invite her over to do mine. think she will ???

Glad your cookies got baked mac........I still may make some tomorrow, don't know...the boys just fixed venison....well, with my help....but I don't like dealing with it...........acckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

mic, making cookies isn't my thing.
but, since my kids love them and sign up to take them to work, i do it for the love of them.



it's a lot cheaper to buy cookies than to make them.
