I made peanut butter scotchies the other day....yum...I like them...

I usually make red velvet cake and lots of stuff, but with just the 3 or us being here, and 2 of us watching out weight (not go UP anyway), I did not do a ton of baking......cause if it's here, I WILL eat it........

We just came in from riding around town looking at the lights....I didn't do lights outside this year, and feel kinda bad about it, but I just wasn't in the mood.............but we saw some very awesome displays.

since things are different for me this year, i cut back tremendously on what i usually do. baking, just the cookies today will have to make it.

going to do a turkey for saturday i guess, i have a very small 7 lb one now.
christmas will be burger king all day long..........

and then cookies all day long too !!

We will be eating out all weekend so no cooking for me! Well, I do have to bring a dish on Sunday, but other than that I will not be cooking! We go to Dave's mom and dad's tomorrow for lunch and my mom and dad's for dinner tomorrow. Then on sunday we will go back out to my mom's for a get together with my dad's side. We will eat lunch and dinner there. Lunch will consist of ham, mashed taters, corn, and anything else everyone brings. We all bring a covered dish.

I have the nicest neighbor!!! She just brought presents over for us! She got dave and I this awsome blanket throw and candy. She got trent, a hand held baseball game, yo-yo and a pen that plays music. Noah, a battleship hand held game, yo-yo, and a pen that plays music. Aubrey, a my little pony, a christmas orniment,a crayola trace and draw! These are my neighbors that treat my kids so well and does so much for us throughout the year...i am so thankful to have such great friends/neighbors!!!

we used to have fantastic neighbors but they all moved.
the ones we have now are not the best.

we have even talked about moving as we aren't happy here now.
but, that has all changed and here i will stay.

one neighbor has 7 pit bulls that break away and have already attacked another neighbor dog, long story.........



anywho, doubt we will hear from miss deena tonight........i can smell the comet from here...........

wow--that is awful mac--can't you call someone to have those dogs carted away? I don't like any dogs like that...when i go for a walk i get nervous when i meet a dog, you never know if they will attack you or not!

I will be sad when we move..i know it will happen someday. My neighbors dh is not in good health and it is a sad sad thing...but they are both very nice...she is the one that picked trent up for me that day he got detention!

So what are you upto tonight mac?

wish i could smell coment in my house...that would mean i would have done something productive today!

I guess i did do something productive today...i made presents with the kids for their parents, and we had our xmas party today...that is more fun than cleaning any ole' day!!!

have called the police three times so far about the dogs.........



it is an uneasy situation, never know if there would be retaliation




tonight, going to the gas station in a few to fill the tank up for the 4th time this week, then get todd from work. hopefully he will be out on time so i don't have to wait an hour for him.

then i wil be home around 11 tonight and starting the laundry in between tv

both boys are working 11.5 hours today.

i might make a pie at midnight, come on over to have some.
really, if the house is quiet, i will bake a pie for the boys to have this weekend.









then i can eat more cookies............

i hope you don't have to sit and wait for ds either! Have fun baking your pie mac....i need to get off of here for a few minutes and wrap the rest of dave's present. this is the very last present i have to wrap!

I talked dave into going out and getting his parents the gc!

Sorry guys cleaning my house is enough for me......no extra's needed. Actually I took a cleaning break and went to my in laws to see my BIL and nephew. Brought my nephew home with me and Im going to pick up my neice shortly. They love spending the night at my house when they come down. And Im trying to keep my position as the favorite aunt!

Dogs and bad neighbors, yeah, we have a set of those too...but Pam has the good neighbors who are thoughtful and kind, that is awesome they came by with such nice gifts........glad you enjoyed their company....awesome also you got Dave to go get the GC......you go girl

mac, what kinda pie ya baking? you know, I might dash over for a slice and we'll have some sorta tropical drink too, just like we are on vacation...

I'm with ya on cutting back mac this year....necessity on this end, but it feels good not to be so overloaded.............just try and remember what the holiday is really all about and enjoy our blessings...

i hear ya mic. i never cook on christmas. i spend it on spiritual thoughts
and the guys watch football..........

i do 3 runs to burger king on that day. so glad they are open 23 hours a day year round. the only way to go !!

My Deena, you will have a house full! but it will be fun, kids liven up the holiday for sure, that is what I miss, the excitement of the little ones around...........

I don't know if you recall, but I manage a retail store and there we have to say "Happy Holidays" because we don't want to offend anyone. I have this so embedded in my brain that it's the only thing I say now

Now that I know that none of you are politically correct here I can say

i told the others here that we should send the aclu a christmas card at their new york office.....and have merry christmas on the card. it would flood their mail room............they want all to be politically correct and say happy holidays.
one of my friends just received a letter from the aclu about his card, they asked if he would like to join their organization........lol
