we know pam and ocm aren't cooking tomorrow so they can't be in the kitchen right now setting things up for tomorrow.
mic is busy tonight.
deena, well, don't know what she is doing.
the guys couldn't be in the kitchen, i don't think they do a lot of cooking except for adam but then there is bob who does cook peanut butter sandwiches for the boys when the wife is out of town......

hmmmm, this leads me to believe it is windy everywhere but chicago right now.

Sorry, I had to get more stitches out. Anyway, I was hoping that was the last of the surgeries, but I will have one more.

Hey, I know what pink salad is...........except I've had it with orange jello instead of strawberry........

I baked a pie and made cupcakes after we got home today.....turkey is tomorrow and I'll be all day fooling around with that stuff...........haven't done a turkey in a long time so hope I've not lost the touch. We will have dressing, mashed taters, gravy, veggies and rolls. My MIL usually makes a ton of stuff to go along with it all, but I'm keeping it simple.

Pam, I make what I call orange salad...and it is GOOD

1 box vanilla pudding (not instant but cooked kind)
1 box Jello Americana tapioca pudding
1 box orange jello
3 cups water.....mix all together in bowl, cook (I use the microwave to bring it to a boil)

add drained mandarin oranges
let cool.....
add cool whip

cooked and put together, it is a nice side to take to picnics, dinners etc.

I don't know if i could cook a turkey! I have never had to....so with that being said.....I have never!!!

.....turkey is in the oven....stewing the innerds for broth and I've got a bowl of bread crumbled up for dressing........so I'm on my way to having the 10 minute timed-eat ready..... all day to cook this stuff and I swear, within 10 minutes they are done.........

i overslept and didn't get my bird in the oven until 7:15 this morning.
we had planned to eat at noon but now it's looking more like 1 today.

forgot to add, when the guys got up, they ate pie for breakfast.

they are now on the cheeses and dev eggs now.........

I wanted to get done early today and all cleaned up, so we ate around 3...and gee, the boys took a tad over 10 minutes to chow down....must have been good

DH then took stuff to his parents, as she was not feeling much like cooking, so all is good....turkey is working on me and I feel sleepy, so I think I might veg out in front of the TV for a bit.......see what's on.

Hope everyone enjoyed their dinners, at home or out.......oh, and for the one who eats salad, hope it was good

Hello all!

Hope your thanksgiving is going well for everyone!! We already went out to dave's parents and lo and behold his sister was tollerable for once! We came home to cook the cassarole I am taking to our other dinner and to let out dog out so her eyes don't have to float!!

Hi everyone

We went to TGIFridays. It was very nice, not crowded and I ate a salad. Now I weigh twi pounds more. I am off to bed soon. I'll be at toysrus at 6am!!

Happy Turkeyday everyone. DD and I went to the football game and our team (against our bitter across the river rivals) shut them out 17 to 0! That makes us 11 and 0 on the year going into the state championship game next Friday. We got some great pictures and then went to my brothers house for dinner. This is the 1st year in about 8 that I didn't have to cook but I will not make the same mistake next year. My brother had the dinner catered by Wegmans and it was ok but nothing compared to "home made with love" food. Hope everyone had as enjoyable Thanksgiving as I had.
