What happened yesterday is that our office found out that HR people had disregarded my letter of intent for this job... and I mean totally 86'd it!!! over some non-sense. We went up to their office (as I've mentioned before, Food Service runs its own stuff on its own budget, not funded by the schools at all) and we weren't treated very nice. I was made to feel like some schlep that had no right to even be interviewed for this position. SOOOOOOO...I spent all last evening making a resume (which is hard to do when I've only worked for TDS for 10 years and my other secretarial experience was 30 yrs. ago)..BUT...ds put together a great resume for me, (after reflecting on my office jobs years ago, I have a LOT of experience) I hand delivered it this morning and within 2 hrs. I'm suddenly interviewable Mind games they are playing, or they have someone else they want to put in this job...whatever.......my boss says she wants me to have it, so we'll see. After crying over it all yesterday during lunch, I got my 'tude going and got dam mad, and made it my mission that they ARE going to clear me to at least interview for this job or ELSE.......LOL Don't back me into a corner, I bite!!

Sometimes people are not nice. You could always show off your baking skills and deliver a Chocolate cake to them seasoned with EX-LAX . I know a girl who was in a Catholic school. She has naturally red lips. Well, one of the nuns decided to scrape the lip-stick off (which only made her lips more red). She baked them a cake, took it to the teacher's lounge, and they had to close the school down.

My goodness, I can be Vindictive...I mean you are in food service.....
They don't have to know where the cake comes from...

How do you like it so far ed? I swore off fords after we bought a ford windstar that was a LEMON!!! We bought it brand spankin' new--had 30 miles on it and the first 7 months it was in the shop about 15 times. We traded it in got a bunch of negiteve equity and paying dearly for it now.....never again!!! Ofcourse i would probably say the same thing about any other brand if that happened with a different brand!

I am sooo stressed out right now! I have so much stuff to do and no time to do it in! I have kids until 5:30 today and then leave for a meeting tonight after the kids leave. Tomorrow night I have a show that I am not prepared for AT ALL! I feel like I am running in circles and don't know how to fix myself

Oh, i think i am going to go and make a list...if all else fails make a list right??? do you know how many dang list i have around here!?!?!?
