I am hoping one of hears from Mic and lets us know she got there safely and is having a wonderful time. I am sure she is loving spending time with her family.

Ed and Deena - Nico is trying to learn all the kids names (that are his age) before we leave. I think he is just a tad bit excited.

OCM thats great he is trying to learn everyones name my DW laughs at Chris because he has his dads problem remembering peoples names.

Very, Very Sad! You know, when it is an older person it ain't any easier seeing them lay there but you have satisfaction that they lived a full happy life. When you see a 3 year old laying there you just sit and think how much life he had to live. The parents did awsome holding it together! I am not so sure i could have done the same.

To tell you all of you what a great community i live in, the hospital here in town has a house that they were going to tear down and make into a parking lot--well the hospital told them that they could live there rent free for as long as they needed to. All the banks pulled together( 5 in all) and bought them new appliances, new bedroom set, new kitchen table, new living room set, and his employment is having a benifit for them later this month. Her part time employment(which is the hospital where she work full time before the twins) went and bought them all new towels and linens. That is not to mention all the gift cards to grocery stores, clothing places, and cash they have gotten! When tina's mom was telling me all of this i couldn't believe it! It is so nice that a community can pull together in someone's time of need!



Anyway, Good morning everyone!!!

I was wandering if anyone heard from mic yet! I heard from her breifly before she left...she must be busy enjoying those grandbabies of hers!!

isn't mac suppose to come back soon! She has tried to get ahold of me a few times but you know how i am on weekends......busy busy busy!!

ed--we need pictures of everyone....so last time i check that included you too!! besides...wouldn't you want to take a picture with two gorgeous women????

The catholic school is out today so i have 3 extra kids and a preschooler that won't be going to school today....lucky me! No hopefully they will all get along!

HI FROM GORGEOUS ARIZONA

All went well on the flight out...between half running, the escalators and the underground shuttle, we made our connecting flight in Atlanta, from E concourse to B concourse, with a quick pit stop on the way when we got to the gate, they were calling our zone number to get on the plane...I was so happy we made it...

The weather was great when we got here, in the 80's and cooler last evening. The boys are so stinking cute !!! Dylan is still a little bit not sure of us......but he is coming around. He is very, very much a Mommy's boy and at 5:15 a.m. was standing in his crib saying "momma... momma"... I got him and put him in bed with me (I'm sleeping in the lower bunk bed... ) but he got right up "momma, momma"....LOL..the school boy is having his breakfast getting ready to head out to the bus...not sure what our day will bring, probably just rest. I could not make it past 8 p.m. last night (which was 11 p.m. our time) with having been awake since 4 a.m. yesterday, so I caved and went to bed...woke up several times but feel much better this morning. Of course I knew I would be up by 5:30...this whole time thing does me in

Momma how was your trip? Wow Ed, 11 days Deena that Astro came was something else!!! And of course those Yanks are holding on

Momma, also my DIL looks so good, she has lost about 12 lbs. since we saw her at Christmas, she looks so nice....now I'm jealous...

I'm going to have a little breakfast I think and decide how to relax and spend my day....doing just that...

Momma, also my DIL looks so good, she has lost about 12 lbs. since we saw her at Christmas, she looks so nice....now I'm jealous...

I AM SOOO JEALOUS TOO!!! I want to lose 12lbs!!

My guess is mac is on her way home if not home by now...I for one have missed her.

We ended up running into Chandler today as DIL is starting a job as a bank teller later this month and she had to have a drug test taken, then we hit Kohl's real quick and back home in time to get GS from bus, although we left DH behind in case we were late getting back. He is NOT a shopper anyway. The little guy is saying so many words...its is cute when he see's cows, he call them stinky cows.........

I also told little GS that if he continues to wake me up at 5:15 a.m. I'm getting him out of the crib and throwing him down the hall to his Mama....

Yeah, my DIL looks wonderful since dropping some more weight since we saw her. I'm very happy and proud of her, she looks wonderful. Makes me wish I could drop another 10 lbs..............but vacation is NOT the time to think of that stuff............

back home.........got in at midnight and the dumb cats woke me up at 5:30 this morning.

went back to bed at 6 and slept to 7.............drinking coffee every since.

just now coming to the boards and too tired to think.........wil tell about my trip later this week.


but first, have to go back and read up on what i missed and see who told the dirty lies about me...............

deena: glad you are doing fine and not out of your house. i missed a lot of news over the two weeks i was gone. only watched the weather channel in the mornings at the hotel.

mic: sorry i missed you but i know you are in happy land with the family.
you will have so much fun and 3 weeks of it !!


ok, only had 10 cups of coffee now and still out of sorts.
will do a day highlight in detail after i un pack the suitcases.......

but will say this, it was really hot. on sunday the heat index was 102.....i sweated.

i had 11 sit down dinners at disney. the great ones were concourse steakhouse, le cellier and some others.

some lousy ones were at LTT.....where i paid $30. 81 for one coke(ok, i was on the free dining plan but still had to buy dinner later out of my pocket for it......but, since i switched to the free dining package i had to pay an additional $170 for the package, so you could say yes i paid the $30.81 for one coke.
i sat from 5:00 to 5:47 for the food which was cold and all on one plate.
the server said we don't do it family style for one person as it would be a waste of food for us...........long story.......and even the manager said i had to pay the bill as it was already run up........i don't understand that as i never got my food and asked for a manager which then the food was brought after 45 minutes of sitting by myself.

took 2 hours at lecellier to get my food........they brought my drink and appetizer then forgot me.........it took exactly 2 hours for the food start to finish. but this was ok as it was raining outside and the food was fantastic here.

tonys.........don't make me laugh.....used to be a great place but i will NEVER return here...........yea, they forgot me after i got my soda and i sat an hour
san angel inn..........ditto and bad food.....came cold, so cold the cheese was hard and all yuck.
crystal palace food was good but i was in the way of the parade and pooh, eyore put their butt in my food..........another trip to the food bar for a clean plate and food...........the manager finally moved me after the third butt in the plate time.

i have to look at my notes to really talk about the trip and food.

i will never do the food dining plan again. not treated well at all on it.
and, won't do the mnsshp again. i liked it better last year.

will be back have to look over my notes. don't want anyone to think all food places were bad, just some of them............hotel room moved 3 x's at all stars.
when i moved to universal hard rock hotel, i had a standard room with the AAA rate for 3 nights. a little issue happened there and the staff wanted to correct it right away. reader digest version: upgraded to the club suite as a gesture of kindness from a staff member..........no, didn't pay for it.
fantastic rooms...........wow !
