Jayne--I went to an all day fund raising crop yesterday for a little girl who had cancer. The had pics of her there, she is such a cute litlle girl.
They gave away prizes and I won a Quickcutz and 2 alpha's for it! Woo hoo!
I was very excited. I did 2.5 LO's (5 12x12's) so I did get something done.
Today I have to babysit my friends my friends kids (one of them is a terror) so Im in for some good times today

How cool is that! you won some stuff at the crop...wow, I'm impressed, and for what a good cause too, how sad the little one is ill, but how nice that people want to help....glad you got a bundle of pages done, that always feels good.

Pam, feel better and you will get stuff done today...I have laundry to tackle...bleck......

Adam will soon be back, trip report will be do on teachers desk for sure...

Momma, you are right about getting kids clothes...mine always started out in shorts and stuff and then when the sales at Christmas time kicked in, I bought winter stuff for them.........I love a bargain..

morning all!

we are off to get a few groceries, and other stuff to help me get my to do list accomplished today! can't do the things until i have the accessories!

mac--i love the story you told last night...you make me laugh!

mic--i have laundry to do to but atleast the good thing about my job is that i can get things like that done during the day!

deena--that is sad about the little girl!! I need to get into scrap booking someday. all my friends do it here and are trying to talk me into doing it. I guess i am very over whelmed because i haven't started at anything and i would have 10 years of catch up to do on trenton. I wander if they will stop time for me so the years won't keep going so i can get caught up!?!?

ocm--i wish my kids could wear shorts for another 2 months. I did buy them a few pairs of jeans though...that way they are ready when the cold hits.

ed--do your kids go all year round or is it the traditional school year there? There has been some talk here about going year round here. I haven't decided on it yet...in a way you could pick and choose your family vacations because they will have longer breaks but i wander how they do that with baseball in the summer and all that stuff!

i don't know for sure when adam is returning...maybe he likes it so much he won't come back!

Have a good day Pam..........get everything done, and go see Uncle Sam he always has a bargain.........Pam, my grandson is on the year round school plan....they have a little more of an extended time off over the summer, they start back in July though....I'll have to take a look at their school calendar when we are out there and fill you in....it may as well be year round here, they started back on 8/25...heck, we NEVER went back til after Labor Day in my day....back when dinosaurs roamed the land

I think Adam came home yesterday or today at the latest.......bet they will be nice and tanned and look like beach bums..............my favorite thing, I love the beach..........well, I don't like sand too much, but I live with that small inconvenience............

Just talked with DIL for 1.5 hr.....LOL....guess we had a lot to get caught up on...........she and I can talk.... and she even has me beat for being a yakker.............my little guy is not feeling so well...low grade fever and listless......but older squirt is much better and stayed the night with his grandma

mac, are you off to church today? you've been quiet.......7th inning stretch for you maybe??????

Ahhh had to take Evan to the doctor this am. He woke up with an earache. Both ears are inflammed. Poor kid. Im lucky our pedi office see kids on the weekend too so he didnt have to wait any.

I am in the middle of cleaning out the kids closets and dressers but took a break to eat dinner. so far today i:

went to bellevue to eat lunch and get groceries and accesories that i needed.
cocked my windows--well dave helped me with that because i wasn't doing a good enough job!
cleaned the inside and out of my windows
washed my bedding
cleaned my kitchen
cleaned out noahs dresser

now i am going to go through his closet and then head to trent and aubrey's room.

I will be back when i am done with that and maybe mac will still be entertaining us so i can play with her!
