afternoon all!


i think i need a nap! remember how i was saying we had a cool front here? well we are going through a hot hot hot front now--it is 94 with like 90% himidity--it is yuck outside. poor trent is at football camp.

I didn't make it to all my errands either. I got all the kids to where they were suppose to go and got my vehicles licensed so we can drive them for another year but i didn't get a chance to go get a new cell phone--i guess i will do that tomorrow.

its hot here too pam and i am baking zucchini bread right now.
nothing like making the entire house 90 degrees also. no ac now........


in my town on every thursday afternoon, a farmers market is set up.
they set up stands and sell fruits and vegetables.
got the best zucchini there and same for the green beans and tomatoes.

it started the second week of july and ends in mid october.
i will miss them.

Well, I went to the eye specialist this morning...same diagnosis as the optometrist, and he assured me that the optometrist is VERY good at his job and he seldom is wrong with his assessments, but that getting a second opinion was a good thing. For once, I was told I'm too young for this to be going on, but it can happen at my age. Being nearsighted can help to hasten the detachment. Overall, it looks ok and he wants me back in 2 months and if he sees no change and I see no change, we will go to a yearly check up. BUT, he did ask about my bloodpressure, what it is, and I said I've not had it taken in some time, and he asked me to please see my family Dr. to see about it....he could tell by looking in my eyes that I may have an issue..............blech............ ...and to be honest, when I went for a "lady" physical last summer, I was told I needed to keep a check on it....and I let it go.............SO.....with that said, I'm off to the family Dr. on Wed. morning to see what the hell else can fall apart on me....

DH went along and we did some returns (those pillows....LOL ) and some other stuff at Target and Wal-Mart, and then we went to TGIFridays for lunch, so it was kinda fun.

Ed, the concert sounds great. I love Bo and so glad that he impressed you in the flesh as a good musician and singer. How cool is that. Sorry he got hurt, but glad he could still sing for you. Was that in Boston?

Oh how about Raphael P. getting suspended, Ed??? I said when he testified that he was a user and a fibber.........you can tell when those blown up necks start decreasing in size...... and I know that Jose C is out there, but he was called everything including being a liar when his book came out, so hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....who might be telling the truth and who is not???? At least we have the "gangster" left on our team til off season............LOL.........boy, he has some psychotic episodes too at times........

mic, being on bp meds is not bad.
i have been on bp meds since i have been 37 years old. you feel so much better when you are on them for about 4 weeks, that is if you have a condition and need to be on them.

I just visited Uncle Sam on Friday, and I don't like him getting to used to my dropping by, so I skipped by him today...................

I figuring I have high blood pressure if he was "seeing" something...so I'll get it checked............I had hoped with losing weight and stuff it would help it out, but I guess not....I hate taking meds of any kind unless really necessary, and will tell the Dr. that....and we'll go from there....it might just be that I need a low dose of something to even it all out............don't want any blown gaskets happening!!

the best thing about hbp meds, it helps prevent strokes.
the worse thing about hbp meds, you pee a lot in the beginning.

that's great mic...for what it is to fly, couple of hours, it sure does beat being in the car for an eight hour drive. you did good !!


have to run to kmart in about 10 minutes. our church is doing a donation for baby clothes for the maternity home in mt vernon. i promised to pick up one boy and girl newborn outfit. the lady is driving down to the home tomorrow morning and have to get the clothes over to her house before 8:30 tonight.


but, i will be back to play.

and I agree about the time in the car............and for me, it would be 14 hours in the car!!!! plus the gals that would be picking me up have another 3 on top of that!!! so its all good

just got done feeding the crew...actually dave grilled i was on clean up duty. that is really great that you got such a great deal mic and now you don't have to spend so much time in a car.

mac--we all like recess so don't be takin' it away!!! we will do almost anything to keep it....noticed how i said almost!!
you are such a good person to donate those clothes. you are such a good person to do all that you do!

tomorrow night i turn into pizza girl again for the first time in about a month. I hope i don't forget how to do it!!
