I believe ocm is not leaving til the weekend....I haven't seen her much today, although I was not online much this afternoon at all........I preferred taking a snooze before going to the eye Dr. so I wouldn't fret............

Deena is busy with her boys I think....they are gad abouts in the summer; sleep late and play late............

Pam is I believe at ball games tonight, both boys were playing.....hope they come home again winners..................

Jules is our disappearing girl....come out Jules..............we like having you back..........

I think Adam has been on the road, and Ed is probably like me, wanting to hide in Pam's closet after the Yanks/Sox game tonight...............grrrrrrrrrrr

both of my boys played and both of them lost! noah's game not even close so they play for 3rd and 4th tomorrow night.
trent's game--totally nailbiting!!! it went extra innings and trent gave up the game ending hit. I was a nervous wreck! I don't know what i am going to do when he gets up there and it means more! I think you will all have to commit me into the looney bin!!

anyway, think i am going to turn in. have to run for one more day with swimming lessions and everything. then sometime tomorrow i will start getting a few things together and throwing them in the suitcase so i can officially say that i have started packing.

ok, yesterday's highlights and talk was about eyes.
today it is about teeth.

one of my expensive crowns that was put on in april has turned dark.
eh gads and it is a top front tooth. going to the friendly dentist today to have that crown cut off and start over time to make a new one.

i told the dentist, I am not going to pay for this................he said ok.
still not looking forward to it.

appointment at 10:30 so i will be around for the morning.


wonder what the topic will be tomorrow................

Morning everyone!!

This trip is bitter sweet for me. In some ways..I cant wit to get rid of my kids. But I told them to say goodbye to Gonchar this morning because they wotn see him for three weeks and both Julie and Nico were crying. They said they were going to miss him.

Ok, so I made more big decisions. I am not going to get the tummy tuck yet. First of all, people told me going to Texas was insane two weeks after surgery. HOWEVER, the bigger reason..I want another baby. I know I know..I am insane. But, I was not ready to close that door. So, breast surgery is next Thursday and the tummy tuck, if I dont get pregnant, I will have done either over Christmas or over Easter. Still in time for swimsuit season next year.

Pam - have a great trip!! I know your kids are going to be sooo excited. We want to hear all about it when you get back!!

Deena - I missed you last night. Put us down for AKL for the first and last weekend, Friday and Saturday nights. Conceirge is too good of deal to pass up!! 1 queen, bunkbeds, and a crib. And I am sorry for being such a PITA. I wont be back until Sunday/Monday..so if you have my cell, just call me if I need to give the guy my credit card before then.

Ed - you better not be passing up concierge for Poly!!! I'll kick your little butt!!

Mic - sorry to ask a personal question..you can PM me the answer, vbut when do you shower? Deena does at night, and I will before dinner..so hopefully you do in the morning. That way, we all have hot water. I am sure I take the longest in there anyway.

Mac - No joke. On the road again. But this is the last trip home for a while. (Unless people keep dying) So, I guess I dont mind too much. 10 hours in a car with three kids is not going to be fun. But, at least we are only coming back with Sammie. (She is by far the easiest kid ever!!!)

Good morning everyone. The trip to KC was OK. I got to eat some BBQ and brought back some sauces and dry rubs. I was under the impression that in that neck of the woods the lay of the land was relatively flat. Needless to say, when I went for a walk outside of the hotel I was staying at, I found myself going up and down (not in the good way either) some pretty big hills. I also count my blessings that I live very close to the Delaware River and how much more clean it is than the Missouri River. There was a lot of construction going on in the city itself as was witnessed by my morning sunrises being accompanied by, what must be the Missouri state bird....the "construction crane".

The flights out were uneventful but the ones back were. Since it was raining in Newark NJ, the plane that was going to take me on the first leg of my trip was delayed by 3 1/2 hours. This resulted in me knowing I was not going to be able to get to my connecting flight in Cleveland so Cleveland had the pleasure of hosting Big Dude for the night. Mind you, that meant that I would have to now travel on nekkid day! It did make it easy to go through the airport checkpoints though! I finally made it back to the airport and into work for an important 12:30 meeting.

It was good to sleep in my own bed last night but more importantly it was wonderful to get greeted by my family as soon as I walked through the door. Oh well, let me see if I can find some grub:
