teacher here has the summer off which is a good thing as i have to haul butts around all day here.

hey, how's it going BBear........

if you get the time, go to page 1 of this thread so you can see how it all started. i was kicked off another thread because i was trying to test a countdown clock. i made some mistakes and with that i messed up 40 some other disers countdown clocks.
i started over and many on here replied as if i was giving a test.

it was a hoot, it made all my tears go away.
people come and go sometimes. they think they are testing a new siggie, countdown clock or pic. some appreciate our dry humor. we hope you do too.

no one was flaming you. its the humor we have and no one hears has any intentions of insulting anyone.
we chatter here about our disney trips and i include my universal ones.
talk about our spouses, kids, grandkids and weather.

Welcome bbear! We all have a great sense of humor and we do tease each other but its done with love It is hard to always see or hear the humor when its in black and white but if you stick around you will see we are not mean on this thread. Just some good natured teasing going on

That is very sweet you got your name from your dd. Kids say the cutest things. My 5 yr old used to call me mom em when he was younger and it was kind of sad when he started calling me mommy/mom cause I loved his name for me.

Ed, love the AKL lobby, have you ever checked it out? It is just as beautiful as the picture shows and it is huge! It is a neat hotel to rest your weary WDW trekking bones at.....the pool is cool too.

Mac, it is hot again, I'm a happy camper this a.m., my red boys pulled it out and in a great fashion I might add.........'bout darn time

So, we know Deena had a very busy, funfilled weekend, and Pam popped by to say hi, water activities sound fun but where is the rest of the gang? I'm getting worried about our gym goddess as I've not seen or heard from her all weekend....anyone know if she went away?

Quite agree theres many a time I've gone to post,then re-edited and re-edited etc till in the end I binned it altogether because it still read awful.
I don't mind a bit of ribbing I'm the as bad as you lot can be in person!
I'm going to Florida July 1st for 2 weeks.

Not sure what the summer rates on cars are. Did you check the transportation board? We usually use a towncar (well van for my large family ). It just makes it so much easier.

there are other discounts you can get.

i signed up for avis, dollar, and two other companies that rent at the airport in orlando. you will get newsletters and coupons through them.

i am going solo to orlando late sept early oct for 14 days without the sh and kids. i kind of told hubby two weeks ago of my plans. waiting for the right moment to give him the rest. i always do disney and universal when i do orlando.

adam is the nascar fan. he usually has that in his siggie but he lost a bet on the american idol contest and ocm has him showing the winner of that contest as his siggie.

carrie underwood is a jerk..............and a vegetarian .........and a bottle blonde....maybe i shouldn't say that last thing as there are 4 ladies here that are blonde.......

just a note..............I've always used Dollar for car rental, but tried National this last trip and got a GREAT deal, ended up with an upgrade and it all worked out fine.........I even joined the Emerald Aisle or whatever, there is a way to do this for free, and got the no hassle pick up your car deal, just go to a car (we checked with the attendent, he is the one that upgraded us) and drive on away..........it was kewl! Of course, putting $42.00 worth of gas in the guzzler upon returning it was another kettle of fish........
