I'm here now--had to watch my friday night shows!

Hey i got a question for you all--what are your favorite restaurants at wdw?? I am trying to decide where we want to eat and we are undecided. So far it is chef mickeys, cindy's table, beaches and creme(maybe just for the dessert), and thinking about sci fi

What would you guys suggest??????

I seem to remember its still in Oct did you guys set a date yet?
Some of our favorite places to eat in no particular order:
1) Liberty Tree Tavern--we are eating there in Oct before MNSSHP
2) Sci Fi--my older boys love to eat there. For me the food is okay, atmospher is way cool
3) 50's Prime Time--ask for Adrianna or Topher, they are both great. We love the food and atmosphere here.
4) Ohana's--everyone loved it when we ate there. Coconut races, hula hooping and learning a Hawaiian dance + good food+ you can watch Wishes from there if you sch your ps accordingly.
5) Beaches & Cream--good burgers and dessert
6) Planet Hollywood--we eat there every trip

thats all I can think of for now. We tried Whispering Canyon once and our server was lame. We are going to go back and ask for Bobby--we hear he us the best.

Thanks for the suggestions!!! We are going july 17-22 that way it doesn't interfer with the kids school or sports. Isn't it amazing how the kids always come first! :teeth: :confused3

Just got home from picking Michael up from band practice. We stopped by Wal-mart. Michael had to get a guitar magazine that had the guitarest from Pantera on it (he was shot and killed by a "fan"). Sad there are so many disturbed people out there.
I also got Evan and Connor the Spongebob movie.
Looks like there wasnt much of a party around here tonight.

Hey Deena - does your AIM work yet? I am guessing most people were on that last night.

Hey Mac - was the wind blowing last night?

Pam - I like the Epcot restuarants. Alfredos, the French Cafe, and DH loves the Japaneese Rest and the Sushi...(as far as good food.) I have never been to Ohana's but I have never heard anything bad about it.

If you want to do desserts and see some characters, the ice cream socail at the Garden Grill is great for that. You get Mickey, Chip and Dale, and I think Pluto.it is at 2:50, 3pm, and 3:10 everyday. If you are looking just for good desserts Beaches and Cream is where you want to go.

Today, I have weights and step class. Then we are going to see the Easter Bunny with the kids. I only have a few things for everyone so far, so I need to get my butt in gear. I hate shopping last minute for holidays.

Morning all! Hope you all had good nights!

I am off to take aubrey to her tumbling class and then just a few errands that i have put off all week. It is suppose to be 60 here today so later on this afternoon i think i am going to go out and to some yard work and try to get it so the kids can play in my back yard again. I hate picking up sticks!!! Pretty soon it will be time for my to pick out some flowers and such for my little flower garden i am making--if you have any suggestions feel free to give them because i have a black thumb and kill everything so i gave up trying--but i am going to try one more time and don't know what to get.

mac--where were ya last night???

deena--does your walmart have boxes and crap all over the store at midnight??? i hate going there that late because you can never get through the isles.

ocm--thanks for the suggestions! I tell you i am more undecisive this trip than any other. I think it is because i know that it will be our last trip for awhile because the kids are getting older and want to see other places. (how dare them) :confused3

ed--have fun doing all your work around the house today! Just remember it will be done soon and then you can relax again.

Hope to catch up with you all later! Hope everyone has a good day!

Have a good time Pam! Yes!! Wal-mart is like a maze late at night, only every part you turn down is blocked off. Why stay open 24 hours if your customers can only go down about 2 isles?

well it is saturday and going to be a nice one...........

i got detained last night......the wind was blowing then i fell asleep..........

just reading thru the posts. looks like deena, ed and ocm will be hitting the parks in the 3rd week of oct. pam and dave will be there july end of the second week. for me i will be down there end of sept and leave columbus day.
mic will see the grandbabies right before columbus day and be gone 2 weeks.

good thing we are coordinating our trips so someone will be here to man the boards.

pam, do you want an essay or the readers digest version of places to chow down at?

each trip i hit the following grazing stations.
garden grill - lunch only(but do it before oct 1st as the menu changes and it is yucky for the fall venue)
hollywood and vine - dinner
chefs mickey - dinner
liberty tree tavern - dinner (and also for mnsshp dinner)
hoop de doo revue (but not on next trip have been 3 times in last 4 years)
dtd: fultons, planet hollywood and one more but the name escapes me
and earl sandwich shoppe....really good...

places in the past i used to go to but not anymore due to problems:
sci fi
prime time
san angel inn
rose and crown
biergarten

places where i will go on next trip that are new to me:
ohana's
trails end
le cellier
and will add the garden grill, liberty tree for mnsshp, h & v,dtd, r & c counter fish and chips place and counter places at mk and mgm.
at epcot i will eat around the world again for the food and wine festival.

gee, getting hungry now.

i found out at work yesterday that a super walmart is coming to town. breaking ground later this spring....yay...........a new hang out for when i get insomnia

it took awhile for me to read my waiting emails before i checked back in here.
guess everyone is busy today.

maybe deena is having a break from life and the boys.....go for that deena, kick your shoes off, sit back and relax for all of ten minutes...

ocm, she is a jumping now i bet.
pam, learning how to tumble with aubrey
dave, enjoying life and drinking coffee huh?

catch all of you later

please don't tell me the weather is so great where you live that you are outside taking in some rays............

its pretty good here but all the snow hasn't melted yet. could hit close to 50 with showers for me tomorrow.
