hey 4greatboys..............when i first startedposting again early this year, i noticed your tag about the" 2 littles smell pretty good." i howled when i read that, its soooooooooooooooooo cute.

i always get a kick out of that.

LOL that was from a post about the hygene of teenage boys. But you know the brainwashing sounds pretty darn good to me

Okay I need to see if Im just an overproctective mom that needs to get a grip or does this not sound good to y'all either. My oldest ds just got his first job not to long back. Well they have really been giving him a lot of hours. Thanksgiving week he is sch to work 10:30am-9pm everyday except Thanksgiving and Sunday. I think its to much for a high school kid.

hmmm...seems a little excessive on the hours...do you guys have regulations in your state on the number of hours a student can work?

my next question, how does HE feel about working so much?? lots of times kids like the moola that comes with the work...

our state has some rules about kids and hours and working...so you might want to check into it.

oh, you can try to lose some of you after Thanksgiving and your trip to Disney, you are going also right??...enjoy yourself and part of the fun of Thanksgiving and Disney is eating

He doesnt like the hours at all. Im not sure of the regulations for teens workers. I'll need to check into that. Im trying to walk the fine line of making sure he is not taken advantage of and also not being "mommy to the rescue".

4GB, I totally understand where you are coming from!! We tend to protect our little birds until they are ready to fly away....and after that too...LOL

but have him ask at his school, maybe the guidance office...my son had some paperwork he had to fill out when he worked part time when he was in high school.

maybe he needs to approach his manager or supervisor, whoever does the schedule, to see if all those hours are necessary for him, or if he could have a few less...hope it all works out..keep us posted

Can you help him speak up and tell them that he cant work that many hours?

I think it is a federal law that says kids can only work a certain number of hours. I am not sure what those hours are, though. And yes, I think it is too many hours.

My mommy just got here. So far, she has changed my kids diapers, paid for dinner, and is keeping my kids occupied so that I dont have to!! Gotta love your mom!

4Great - I need to lose some of me too! These guys are doing such a wonderful job. Mic and Ed are both BIG LOSERS! And we still love them.

There are other outfits like this one in Sedona, but they havethe cutest drivers makes it a lot of fun to see the sights. It is a beautiful spot, and if I'm not mistaken, right before you get into Sedona, there is a spot they will pull over and take a rest. But just park and walk around the downtown area, have a bite to eat and explore the shops and the scenery.(especially those really hot guys)

Also in PHX, the Desert Botanical Gardens are nice. Good time of year too because it won't be too hot walking around. And if the snack bar is open, try the Prickly Pear Cactus tea...yum

Canyon Lake is a nice drive also on the other side of Phoenix...

Lots of shopping and eating (and hot young men) as someone already mentioned is abundent in the PHX area...enjoy it...the men are gorgeous out there.

Hmmm Froggy seems someone has played with my wording a bit there. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back before I had 1200 kids I might have been able to sleep nude however that option is gone now for atleast 20 more years. By then it could just be downright scary
