Ok you guys! It is 3 am and they are just getting here. They didnt leave home until like 3pm! This is not a freaking hotel, I am not awake 24 hours a day to greet people and show them to their room! Now they insist on clean out the entire car..even Lee is telling them to stop we will get it in the morning. But no no no..they insist on doing it at 3am!

This is not a good start..gggrrrr

Good morning...boy, I went to watch a little TV last night and really just konked out...sorry for anyone I told I'd be back to chat...

ocm, that is awful for them to show up at that hour...they should have spent the night at a motel along the way and got there early this morning...well, actually it was early this morning...lol....

won't be around much til this evening, a full day of work and I HAVE got to finish wrapping some gifts tonight...time is getting away from me...my own fault...but.......

have a nice Sunday....OH, and to top it all, they say we may get some snow this afternoon.....grrrrrrrrrrhhhhh....don't need that to slow things down any

don't have to say it is now sunday........ocm knows that one as she greeted the morning in with the outlaws. hoping she is able to sleep in this morning.

i am suffering with a killer headache right now. boy do i hate having them.

right now it is 4 degrees with strong wind gusts...........the bears play at noon today in chgo.....outside.........poor bears..........and the stands will be packed with fans.............dont know how they all will survive.




ocm: i feel bad for you.........its hard enough to entertain so soon after having a baby and with two more littles.......hope you get soome help from the mil and fil to watch the kids so you can nap and play on the computer.

just went out to get the paper...............think my nose froze in that short walk to the end of the driveway...............soooooooooo cold and blowing winds..........and to think i have to go out today.

mic, we got snow yesterday, it snowed a lot but only a dusting to an inch where we are. the lake effect does that to us.

oh mac, chase that headache away....and on that note, we DO share here, so I'm sure I'll have one when I get off work today...LOL...I'm taking my excedrin before I even leave for work... being prepared is part of the battle

its a tad warmer here than where you are...its 28 degrees...but that is chilly and it DOES look and feel like it could snow...again....grrrrrrrr....last year when I went to work on a snowy day, I ended up getting the front of my car busted up by a nut who slid into me.....my dh gets mad when I go to work for such little time/pay and something happens to our car....so my new rule is...if it is snowing when I'm supposed to leave and it looks like it could amount to something...I WILL not go....ok, you've heard enough of that crap....lol

the stores in and around the mall where i am are open until midnight.
they started the holiday hours last week. there are a few that do close at 11 pm.

i went to Borders late very late last night to pick something up and the store was crowded at 11:30pm......wow..........more people like me!!!

we started "panic mode" shopping hours yesterday...8 a.m. til 11 p.m until Thursday...when we close at 6...big of the mall huh? I'm not working though, maybe a couple freight hours in the early a.m on xmas eve..

yes, I'm excited about seeing the "babies"...all 4 of them...they ALL are still babies in my eyes...

mac I had a horrible headache all day yesterday too. I took 3 ibuprofen and 1/2 a vicodin every 4 hours all day to try to keep it at bay. It work me up at 4 am this morning too.
I have most of my shopping done but not quite all of it. My other best friend is going shopping today but her boyfriend is going with her so I dont think I will. He gets on my nerves.
OCM--I think that was so very rude of them and I hope you repay the favor. Show up to their house in the middle of the freakin night, insist on unloading your car too and maybe the kiddo's will be recharged and keep them up an extra few hours.

i have to function with a headache, just going in slow gear today. if i lay down, it gets worse and pounds, know what i mean?


one of my sons finally told me what he wanted for christmas.. an ipod.
great, they are nowhere to be found. they were plentiful the beginning of the month and rare to find them this late.
think he will get just an iou in the stocking.

right now it is 4 degrees and with the wind chill it is now minus 16 degrees.

had to run out to walgreens for one item and froze my butt off, and nose.

was cheaper for me that way.

i order thru the education list and get the discount due to being a teacher.
it takes off $31 of the regular price with free shipping included.

evening friends...if any of you pop by....

it is cold and windy this evening and we've had some stray snowflakes flying around...

today was not so bad but the mall was quite busy...lots of last weekend before xmas shoppers out today..one of my guests, a very pleasant man gave me a compliment so it made my day...while ringing this man up, my dentist came up to me to say "hi" and happy holidays...and he asked about my sons (ok, we have THE best dentist...my boys have gone to them while they were still baking in the oven) and I said blah, blah, blah, and said "grandsons"...well Mr. Nice Guest says "you have grandchildren, I'd never have thought it" <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZZzebYYY' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_3_16.gif' alt='Kisses' border=0></a>...even if he was "stretching" the truth....it was nice of him to say that...LOL
