Froggy good luck at the doctor.

Mac - I cannot believe you got banned for that picture. That is rediculous.

M4E - Have a good time at the park. Hopefully the kids will take a nap for you..a nice long nap.

Good Morning Jules - What are your plans today?

Probably nothing OCM, at least not until much later . . . I'm gonna vegitate today <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_53.gif' alt='Broccoli' border=0></a> <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_1_120.gif' alt='Relaxing By The Fire' border=0></a> <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/993.gif' alt='TV 3' border=0></a> :teeth:

Well hopefully when that time comes and if...(do you want kids?) you will have very hands on grandparents that will take the kids so you get a break.:)

::yes:: I want kids ~ my parents are the type that would take them for me too :teeth: Mom watches Hope for sister when she needs her to :) and dad's been talking about getting a car seat so he can take her places since she was born ~ (someday he'll get one ;) ) :)

Why don't you take some time for yourself? With such a large family, you must have someone who could watch the kids  :teeth:

I am very fortunate that both grandparents live in the area. My mom has a room in her house set aside for the kids to sleep over, she has carseats for both (and now for the new baby) she is going to buy a bigger car so that all three will be able to fit in their carseats comfortably. I am spoiled with that.

Sunday, I did have a me day. I went and got my hair done, nails done, and i got my eyebrows waxed. Then DH and I went out to dinner.

My mom just left for two weeks in New England visiting family. So, my inlaws will hopefully be more hands on. But, I do. I am very very spoiled.

I have been to Disney 3 times this year without the kids and twice with them:crazy: My mom just takes off when I want to go away. Like I said, I am extremely spoiled with them being so flexable for me and my kids.:p

Oh and I forgot. My entire family is going to Lourdes in September. My mom really wanted to go, aunts uncles cousins everyone is going and she would have a blast. But she wont go becuase she is going to take two weeks off once the baby is born to come and stay with my kids.:p :p

That's so sweet, very cool that your mom makes so much time for your kids ::yes:: :teeth:

 You've been to Disney 5 times this year???

I'm so jealous <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_217.gif' alt='Envious' border=0></a>

LOL! Sometimes we go for a week, sometimes just a weekend, but we have annual passes. So it is easy for us to go and cheaper than going to a spa or even the beach.

Just Curious because my wife and I are considering it.

No I dont. We looked into it and we figured we could always rent the points from ebay or whatever. But I think you get better hotel rates staying under the AP rates. I mean, if I could i would be going in September. $50 per night at a Value and $80 per night at a moderate. And since you have the AP's your entertainment is paid for.

We did the presentation and I loved BWI and Beach Club Resorts, but we really looked at all the numbers and decided for us..this is the better way to go.

The keys for us too Ed is we never go during Peak Season. Our kids are in preschool, so I have no problem yanking them out of school and I have no probelm leaving them so we can go by ourselves:p

I'll see you guys later :teeth:

I'm gonna go watch some <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/166v.gif' alt='TV 2' border=0></a> :p

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I looking at more along the lines of I can pay for 40+ yrs of Disney vacations . So we are thiking of buying resale at VWL. I'd still buy my AP just so I wouldnt have to worry about how many times I go down and need to get in to the park.

yeah, in the long run it might be the better deal. We were definately impressed with it. We went back and forth for a while and to be honest, we never looked at resale. That might be the better way to go and then it probably is worth it.

That would be great for you all. Does your wife like Disney as much or more?

She likes it about as much as I do, but to me It was something I did all through my childhood from 4th grade and on we went to disney almost every year. So it holds alot memories for me.

She didnt make her first trip till college but she still loves it.

:wave2: back from park, lunch is done, shortly nappy for little guy...movie for older sis....Hercules is the choice today...

you've been busy planning those Disney World vacations...will share something...went for my honeymoon, (31 years ago and stayed at the Poly for $48 per night....thought that was soooooo expensive....can you believe that... sure would be nice if it still went for that...

WOW M4E that is crazy! It would be nice if it still went for that. We are booked to go in December with the new baby. We are booked at Wilderness lodge..Ed have you ever stayed there?

Anyway, we are hoping once AP rates come out we can switch to the Poly or the GF. I think it would be easier to stay on a monorail with a 5 week old. We are suppose to go next weekend, but who knows if that will happen or not. We are booked to go, but we will see.

Ed - it is nice that you all like Disney. I think Dh likes it more than I do, but I like it.

M4E - Did you have a wonderful honeymoon there? I wish I had done that, but family obligations..I had to go somewhere else. Do you go to Disney often?

You will love the Wilderness Lodge, it is one of my favorites...I like the Poly for its convenience. We've stayed at AKL the last 2 trips (and I can only afford the deluxes because I work for Disney) and liked it there too. We've stayed at All-Stars..good if you need to conserve funds, but to me, you get what you pay for, and it is what it is...kids like it though...rooms were too small and beds were awful for me/hubby, and 2 teens bunking together...that was a little too much togetherness...LOL You will find for a deluxe though, the rooms are much bigger at Poly than either WL or AKL.

We have been many, many times over the years...went for our honeymoon, wasn't much there back then, but it was fun. We've really seen the place grow, and grow. I'm figuring at least 22-24 times over the years.

My mother lives in Florida, so we go once a year to see her, and usually take 3 nights and drive up to WDW and for the last 2 years, have met with the family of the kids that I babysit. Now that we don't have little ones to fool with, we just like to do what we want...if I don't want to wait in a line, we don't...been there and done most of it...we like to eat at different restaurants and I love to shop!!!! Hubby sits on a bench....LOL

I always say when I walk into the Magic Kingdom, "I'm home now" and usually it gets to me...I love it there. I guess it all boils down to having not had much money as a kid, and thinking that a place like WDW would be something I'd never do, so our first trip in 73 was great and stays in my heart. I'm sure if all this comes to pass with Disney Stores, my visiting will be less, I really enjoy my perks of being a CM...will miss that.

We did DisneyLand when we went out to Phoenix several years ago....I LOVED IT....in fact the following fall we took my son/family out there.....it was SO much fun..it is different that Florida, but so unique in its own way.

Ok, I've droned on long enough....a BIG Disney freak I am!!! I'm the one in the family everyone comes to for info about it. Oh, and we got a tremendous deal on the cruise in 2000 as Disney CM's and we got to go....I couldn't afford it now, but it was SOOOO much fun...we had a blast.:p
