I dragged my sorry butt up and did my workout this morning. I figured since the school system's automated "school is closed" calls got me up earlier in the week and I got a workout in, maybe I should stick with it. I'm not feeling very motivated at the moment.

Okay then....so what would you SAY makes me weird? (cuz we all know I just ain't right! )

Welcome to all the newbies.

The gym was great!! I got so caught up in the class, I almost forgot to leave early to take Samantha to school. I don't think the teacher appreciated the "Oh SH..." I let out after looking at the clock. It was ok, the rest of the class laughed.

Pam - I hope things calm down for you there. Dave finishes with his company next week right?

Yes, next friday. He starts his new job the following Monday.....everyone cross your fingers it goes okay the huge plus is that dave will have NO driving time anymore so he will be here in town
It has just been kinda stressful...my family is on me to get them information on the cruise we are going on IN A YEAR.....they really have to chill out I finally handed it off to a travel agent because it was just to much work for me to try to book 12 peoples vacation. It should start to calm down.

Okay, I actually know the rubber jawbone. My grandfather was named for him AND had cancer surgery himself. That would be Grover Cleveland. However, Richard Nixon looked more like the rubber jowl guy to me.

Billy Jean... hmmmm... She was NOT his lover? I think the song was written about some girl that was stalking him. Ummmm... wasn't it the first video on MTV by a black artist? If that's not it, I don't know what it is famous for.

Oh., I forgot to tell you all..I am not teaching next year. They wanted me to teach the toddlers and I LOVE what I do. If I could have any job, it would be teaching preschool.

The problem is..I hate working. It cuts into my day too much, I don't get to the gym, really the list goes on and on.

Give me credit though..I did try it for a year. There are a lot of people that hate being SAH parents. I'm not one of them.

Hiccup remedies that I have used with marginal success:

Suck a lemon wedge

Take deep slow controlled breaths

Do any visual technique you know to focus your thoughts away from the contacting/spasming muscle. Close your eyes and picture something... really... only think of that one thing in various pictures or settings. Like, say, think of apples. Apples hanging on trees, apples sitting in a bowl, apples in pie, whatever. Sounds stupid, but this works for me more than anything else.

Good luck on the new job. I'd love to find a part-time job out of the house, but until the youngest starts school it wouldn't make sense for us. We'd pay more in childcare than I could earn part-time. I am technically on the payroll of our business, but I do the bookkeeping at home when the kids are sleeping, so I don't think many people would consider that "working".

Slo - your little girl is precious. Are the girls close? My two younger girls are so close. I was so happy I had two girls because my mom has 7 sisters and she is really close to them. I only had brothers and while I am close to them, it's not the same sister bonding. So I was glad I was able to give that to my girls.

In fact, last night my 9yr old lost her tooth, and naturally put it under the tooth for the toothfairy. This morning, when my 4yr old woke up, she found a quarter under her pillow, and my 9yr old said it was from the tooth fairy so she wouldn't feel left out I asked my 9yr old if she did that, and she said she did What a nice sister she is!!

i hate my job also but it is what gets me to florida.
mr mac cut off the funds.
he thinks that can sway me to staying home 52 weeks a year.

i only work for my vacations.
and for something else.

really, work is kewl for me but it cuts too much into my life.
my schedule is so upside down and i don't get enough rest.

i went to bed around 1 this morning and up again around 4ish.
had to take david to the airport in chgo as he is going to california for 4 days.

then i had to get ready for work after i got up this morning as i went from the airport to work.

now home and i am a happy camper.

do have to take off for curves soon.
and then take one son to racine wisconsin tonight to shop.
well, not shop, it is best buy but for some reason, he wants to go far away from home to shop so no one knows him.

i came to check the thread on the computer before i even took my coat off when i walked in the door.

i checked once during the day and the original test thread is still down.
i checked on the something is nothing thread and it was up around 4ish this morning.

i hope test passes the test and life goes back to normal again....
