I think we will probably drop Le Cellier too. They took stuff off the menu and changed some of the other things that were on it. Just not sure yet.

Please get a new boat. The Titanic sinks! Just in case you don't get off in time:

You are so right we clean the whole house except the boys room ( I kept after them to clean the room i wasn't going to do it) where are they all hanging out , in the boys room.

Hope you are still sane tomorrow morning Ed :thumbsup2 I bet the boys are having a blast

Just watched the last of the baseball game after the rain delay...I actually did some cleaning myself today...it was like work:headache: ;) and I didn't like doing it.......LOL

ed, be sure to let us know if anyone gets sleep tonight.

kid parties are a hoot.

they fight and make up soon after and the moms have the breakdown over it.

doing church in the morning.
will have your backs covered for the week

hi guys, a horrid weekend in our house...

neice arrested for 3rd DUI, couldn't help her out despite SOS; extended family miffed with me/officer Jer cause we couldn't make it better:mad: , then my poor poochie is hurt

Wanted - crossed fingers & mummy dust, please

last night after i put the laptop away & went to put my dogs down in the den for sleepy time; i found out my youngest (schipperke) couldn't stand or walk:confused3 :sad1:

she had been limping off & on for a few months, figured she might have arthritis and had been planning to call the vet for an appt this week (she had her hips certified by 2 different vets before we purchased her), hope it's not dysplasia.

called all the ER vet places last night in our metro area - none of them have an ortho on staff; so it was suggested i wait & try & get her into her own vet on Monday.

i'm very scared as to what's wrong; at least she doesn't seem to be in much pain if we don't move her. After reading the costs involved w/quick serach on the net, not sure if we'll be able to fund the care if hips do need replaced...think a used car:sad2: . Guess i'll find out tomorrow

Good afternoon friends...

I come and read such sad news... KS, so sorry about your niece, and just because your son is in law enforcement, doesn't mean he can wipe someone's irresponsible behavior off the books..hope it all works out. Now, your poor doggie, I'm so sorry he has fallen ill, keep us posted, poor little critter, I know how hard it is when they are hurting, and I also understand about the vast amount of $$ that vets seem to thing everyone has for all the tests and things they do for animals these days. It's all wonderful, but still costly. Before we made the decision to put our last doggie to sleep, we racked up over $800 overnight:sad2: and he couldn't promise even with another battery of tests etc. that they could guarantee bringing him back to good health. I guess in your case, it is a little different if this doggie is still young, but our little fella was 12 years old at the time and I couldn't justify thousands of dollars to come to the same conclusion as to what the vet was thinking. He even said if it were he, he would make the decision we made. Good luck, keep us up to date and I'm thinking of you:hug:

mic - thanks, we've already spent several thousand a few times with our pets, just if it's anywhere near the $6K i see on the internet; it'll be a very difficult decision - sigh

when it rains it pours doesn't it.

my cat who will be 14 years old mid june, has arthritis.
i give her medicine from a dropper 2 xs a week for it.
the meds are for a dog but the vet told me its the best around to help the stiffness for the animals. so kitty takes dog meds and does great on it.

you don't want to hear what i have dropped on my cat baby in the last 8 years. i could have put a kid thru college on what she has cost me.

i don't care, whatever the costs, i put it on the cc and deal with that and mr mac later.

see the vet and have her checked out.
let us know what happens.

oh, and your backs are covered for the week.

MIA's need to report in soon.

evening all!

finally done running for this weekend. Do I have to tell you all how much i HATE to grocery shop?! I HATE IT!!! I got it all done for another week though. I feel like I had ed's sleepover at my house, it's such a pit i don't even know where to start.

KS--so sorry to hear about your puppy:hug: It's to bad you are getting the grief about your neice...it's not your or your son's fault.

mac--i got your pm....i'm glad we got it figured out:thumbsup2

ed--how did the sleepover go? the bowling? I bowled on my sister's Wii today....can i just say that i really stink at it but i was the champion in cow racing:banana: I can move my cow:lmao:

mic--the yank/sox game isn't going the way i want it to:headache:

have a good night all!

Hello folks.....Just a quick note from Sweet...She wanted me to tell you all that her Grandmother died Friday night after a long illness. She is on her way to DC, drove halfway last night and will be back probably Friday. The funeral is Wednesday. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she travels and deals with the loss of her Grandmother...

Redneck Vasectomy
A Kentucky couple, both bona fide rednecks, had 9 children. They went to the doctor to see about getting the husband "fixed".

The doctor gladly started the required procedure and asked them what finally made them make the decision--why after nine children, would they choose to do this.

The husband replied that they had read in a recent article that one out of every ten children being born in the United States was Mexican, and they didn't want to take a chance on having a Mexican baby because neither of them could speak Spanish.

Good morning....more sad news:sad1:

Tony, if you talk to Momma, tell her I'm so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with her:hug:

KS, keep us posted on the pup

Pam, I agree, grocery shopping is more like work then anything else...ick...plus it just keeps going up:headache: eating healthy is very expensive too...fruits and veggies :scared1:

Just the beginning of baseball......:thumbsup2

Mac, your kitty has been hanging in there for a good while, you must be taking extra good care of her:angel:

Gotta run...see ya later friends

back (with poochie:banana: ) from the vets. he doesn't think she has hip displaysia; thinking an auto immune disease (lupus?-who knew dogs got them?)

she has a fever so vet gave her anti-inflamitories & pain instead of the steriods which don't mix with the fever? Said to call him Thursday if no improvement; then we'd have to look at MRI of spine/kness since an exray wouldn't show the problem.

i'm convinced the power of goodwill had an effect, keep it coming please!:cloud9:

hmm, haven't looked @ the menus for awhile; they've take so many good offerings (probably the more expensive ones:rolleyes1 ) since the DP...dumbed it down real good-like:mad:

You are so right we clean the whole house except the boys room ( I kept after them to clean the room i wasn't going to do it) where are they all hanging out , in the boys room.

my guys are piggies, mess doesn't bother them until they fall over it; hope it went weel

aw, sorry to hear

ps did you see the clip on today show wherein the word got out that a red sox fan had buried a game jersey, under cement in new stadium (evidently lot of things buried under cement in NY & Jersey:lmao: )

Guess he was running his mouth in a bar & a specific tip came in...they showed it being jackhammered from underneath a slab...guess that's why they're down 2 games in the series.
