Good puppy news...YAY Hoping for a rapid recovery for the little guy

I read that story about the guy burying the Red Sox shirt...duh...don't tell anyone There is a Yankee/Red Sox thread on the Dis, where some of us fans hang out, and the whole story is there. Don't know who came off sounding worse, the Steinbrenner boys or the guy that did it Maybe some karma stayed 'buried' even after removing the offensive shirt they lost 2 games in Boston.... this weekend

So sorry to hear about OCM's grandmother my prayers are with her and her family.

Ks--that is good news about your puppy...hope he recovers quickly.

bob--are you getting all ready for your trip? do you have everything packed yet?

Not in the closet yet..the kids have been pretty good today. It is pretty nice out so I let them go outside for about 45 min. after lunch today.

mic--i saw that about the shirt too. good grief!!! why are baseball players soooo superstitious????

mac, we don't leave til 5/23...which in one sense seems like a long ways to go, but in another, it will be here, we will be there and back home before I know it

very nice although breezy day around here, I guess around 57 degrees, calling for beautiful days later i week. I love early spring, but then it always turns humid and then I hate it........

i ended up packing at midnight and had the car service here at my house 4 hours later..........tsk tsk.


this year will be different.

i have found 3 of the 4 one day tickets on my room keys.
and i think i know where to look for the pins i bought at the disney store at christmas time.

lori--the new kids did start yesterday. They are doing pretty good so far. one little girl is kinda scared of my dog, but she is getting use to it. one is 4 and the other is 3 so no potty training for me

I don't mind shopping...i just HATE grocery shopping. Although dave and I are now car shopping. It is bad because we can't agree on what we want We are going to buy one for our 2nd car and get rid of the one we have right now. Then when trent is old enough to drive he will get it.

Went and did my CPR class last night...have to say this new way is going to be soooo much easier! It is amazing how much CPR has changed since I first started taking it.

i'm with 'ya, like a big kid waiting for Xmas morning (only the trip is way better imo)...then i'm the one whining to go back to room & sleep the 1st night
quickie check in ; my poochie is doing amazingly well...looks in the same general limpy condition she was Saturday before she couldn't walk. Dr. is a miracle worker-i shall name my next grandchild after him waiting for him to call me back & see where we're going from here/future treatment.

i'm doing several last minute "courtesy" tax returns for friends/family ; somethings never change

KS, awesome about the pup, I'm so happy to hear he is doing better and that you love your vet....that is a BIG thing, even with people, finding a doctor you are comfortable with and knows their stuff

Taxes...... all done for another year, put everything in the mail the end of last week, no worrying about standing in line at the post office for this chick...hopefully next year will be better for us, I've put into action some techniques to get er done and not have a shortfall yet again....so much for the retirement years

Almost lunch time...think I'm gonna sneak in a tan, I need to get out of here for a little bit

Ok, this afternoon needs to end...it has begun to be way tooooo long

Good luck at dentist KS with your youngin'. We love our vet, he is the nicest guy, very laid back and very 'everyday' acting, not snooty or anything...he is very kind and compasionate

Ok, so we are being told we have to participate in an afternoon of bowling next week, to promote being 'team players'..... the only good thing, its at 2 p.m. on company time and pizza and beer at the end. Its something I'm really looking forward to and we are going to be put with people out of our comfort zones...oh for pete's sake, I get along with everyone here and like everyone, so its not like they are taking me out of 'my' comfort zone. This corporate bull crap that is starting to invade this business is so dumb......but we get paid for it, we'll probably have fun and it will be done and over with. It won't build anything with me, I already feel I'm a team player and dependable...whatever
