He loved it He was bumming that they lost that day, but otherwise, he had a great time.

We have tickets for this Sunday's game against a certain team from Boston. It's my wife's firm outing.

Isn't it funny when the kids do that. I know for noah's birthday we took him and some friends to a hockey game. The team that they were rooting for lost..they were all bumming.

yum, pretty colored donuts today

thanks to the budget thread, i got a heads up on a mickey waffler that i've been watching prices for years. Since i've never made a waffle didn't want to spend $50 & be stuck with it. I came yesterday for less than $15 thru HSN. I'm not a qvc type of gal, appears as thou hsn is a 'downsale' version?

pam - glad to hear your friend likes it, i need something really simple, let's call it blonde proof.

mic - surprising specs for the camera, 6.3 mp, 3X optical, 6.2X zoom. bells & whistles I liked: internal built in memory plus the removeable card, settings for fireworks, beach, snow, even a dual shot mode where it takes a natural light, then a flash in rapid succession for review. I may actually read the instructions for the 1st time. I've had such problems with the lens that retracts on my sony & the bright light/slow pic issues, have vowed to stay away from them.

Off to the big city to pick my toy up, have a good one.

it's still sealed in the box, yet another shaggy dog story - CC was charged 3 different times for the purchase. Once for full price & once for the correct discounted price by the online branch of Best Buy. When i picked it up the store charged CC a 3rd time for the cost of the discounted camera - no insurance contract included.

would've returned it on the spot, except they told me i'd lose the value of the gift cards.

came home & called online, they're researching it & will get back to me in 1 - 5 business days. Said the store mis-spoke, i wouldn't have lost the gift card value; would have been included in the refund.

Suggested in the meantime that i don't break the seal on the box or i might be liable for a 15% restocking fee. it's a very nice box though.

Never did get back to play today but did grab a couple of those donuts when I got here this evening.

KS, I swear, that is one reason I don't do Best Buy, I've heard so many horror stories of that store...and I think one time I had to return something there and it took me forever standing in line. I have ordered from them online I think once or twice when I got free shipping and a good deal...also I use Circuit City that way, free ship and best deal I can find. Hope it gets worked out so you can rip open that purty box you got

Mac, are you lost in work too? I swear, the damn phone at work will not stop ringing...I was really busy for the better part of the day today.

i fell asleep in front of the tv last night.
i have to say, my couch is no longer comfortable.
i was watching forensic files and woke up with the tv on at 3 this morning.

going to curves soon.
i am really getting sick of that place.
they expect you to exercise while you are there

afternoon all i'm the go to gal today...

picked up oldest DS, getting car inspected & shall drive him back

took DH to get his peepers dilated, he check out a-ok

used my mickey waffler today, whipped up the fancy-dancy rec. in the booklet (had to beat eggs whites ); mighty tasty stuff...stoopid DH & youngest kid don't eat waffles or pancakes (all the more for me ).

Hope ocm goes somewhere cool to recharge those batteries.

mic - i've never had any issues before; i had to put the box away - hard not to rip into it (i've got self-control issues ).

pam - hope someone honors that warranty for you

mac - touch those toes (does curves do that stuff?) vacations only 60 some days away.

wish i could sleep to noon or after like they do.



i shouldn't complain though.
i never vacuum when someone is sleeping in the house.

What a busy morning i have had and it doesn't seem like i got a whole lot accomplished

Noah just left for cubscout camp..he will be gone until saturday

have a picnic tonight for trent's traveling team followed by a swim party. I think i am going to duck out early and let dave stay so i can come home and get some stuff done before my furniture comes in the morning.

Afternoon all......yes mac, they expect to work when I'm here, although at times I choose differently I'm taking a little break right now...self-imposed that is We got a new Pepsi vending machine (sorry Pam, but Coke made me mad and I told them to take their machine and shove.......it out the door So I had to fill the machine with the product that came today, gotta keep these guys all happy here...I got Diet Lipton Green Tea w/mixed berry's as one of the choices...I like it, so took care of my own desires also.......

Another one of my purchases when I worked at TDS....couldn't end a day without making a purchase or having a bag to take home Wish I could afford to take a slab of granite home with me

that's okay mic--i feel the same way I would love to tell coke where to go but i have to be patient with that...it will come in due time...then i will start buying moutian dew.
I love the diet green tea with mixed berry!! I like that better than the citrus kind.
