Morning all!

Fireworks were great last night!! It was a little chilly sitting out there watching them but nothing a little blaket couldn't fix It was our 20th yr. of fireworks so it was bigger than other years.

I think we are headed to omaha today. we need to take some returns back and one of dave's friends coaches a team and he would like to watch his team play baseball.

Ed, does time ever go so quickly as when we are off on vacation time? Hope you had a relaxing week though and enjoyed not having to work...and yes, hump day is a day off for most of us...

Foot is feeling a little better, just sore...didn't bother me during the night...I figure it will be sore for a while, I can live with that....I just want to put my regular shoe back on and paint my piggies......

Lovely day here, humidy has cleared out for today anyway...I caught up on a HUGE pile of magazines I had sitting around and actually cleared the kitchen table off this morning...it masquarades as a catch-all desk for the most part..also got some towels in the washer...gonna wash my hair then relax the rest of the day

TVT is off this week, so I doubt he will be around to wake us up.

Pam - how was the family gathering? I never did get a new laptop. Actaully, last time I checked Best Buy had a great deal on one of them, but right nwo I cant really be bothered. I have too many other things going on.

Keisha - are you back yet? We want to hear all about the trip.

Bob - hope you didnt get rained on during your Tee-time

Mic - hopefully the foot soreness will go away soon and you can get yourself a pedicure!!

Ed - My MIL is trying to get me to go to DIsney the week you are going. I will have just pulled Nico out two weeks before to go, but it's Sammies Bday weekend, so I am thinking about it.

Mac - did you get the house cleaned? I cleaned mine on Friday, but since we stayed home this weekend it's a mess all over again. No VBS this week actually. Nico has soccer camp and while I thought about trying to find one for Julie to go to, she and Samantha play so well together it might be nice for Sam if she stays home with her this week.

Back to work today... foot is feeling ok, just a little sore...I peeked under the gauze and the incision looks like it is doing fine...go this afternoon for a follow up, hope he removes most of this bandaging. My calf hurts now from walking so stiff on it if it isn't one thing its another

Everyone, have a good start to the week, it's a mid-break week...not sure if I like that, but a day off is a day off

The family gathering was fine. We all had a good time...i think

This week is going to be different for us...we have NO games this week!!! Trent has a scrimmage tomorrow night and Noah has practice but other than that we are free

I think dave is going to take the kids out camping on tues. night. Haven't decided if I am going or not yet. I am NOT a camper!!!!

Anyway, I have kids coming so I'll be back later....have a good day everyone!!

but, glad he did get us a replacement for the morning wake up time.

ocm, thanks for the wake up, but it was so soft, i slept until 6:45 this morning

mic, if you kick anyone at work today cause they are annoying, don't use your bad foot. it would hurt too much.

ed, i really don't understand why they don't let you stay home 3 weeks a month and just mail you your paycheck for all 4 weeks....


i think everyone should be allowed 3 weeks vacay each month

pam, no schedule for the kids and games this week? wow, hope the week is peaceful for you. is mallory still working for you?

It is a little hectic during the day...we started swim lessons this week...Atleast they all go at the same time this year so i don't have to run back and forth. I just have to haul 6 of them out there and back, stay for 45 minutes and i'm good!

Aubrey went of the diving boards today she can't swim!!! Scared this poor mama out of her wits!! I was on my cell phone and saw her climb up on the board. Told the person i was talking to i would call them back and headed over to tell the lifegaurds that she can't swim(she doggie paddles) I didn't know how well the gaurds were paying attention. there was a guy in the pool watching though...she got to the side safely but has been telling everyone that she went off the diving boards and drowned.


Mac--malarie helps me on mon. and tues. and then a girl named jennifer helps me the rest of the week. Works out pretty well!


Ocm--bite the bullet and go with your mil! Heck is that the time she gets to stay in the castle??? didn't you say she won a stay there??

Hey there, hi there, ho there.........it is not almost 3:30 on Monday... Ed, it does bite about coming back to work...I always say that working should be 50 weeks vacation time and 2 weeks worth of work....heck, I'd work 24 hr. days if it could be that way....

Went to Dr. for follow up...looks good, my wittle stitches are cute and if I had known he was going to totally do away with all the dressing and simply put a bandaid over my incision, I would have brought my other shoe so I'm stuck wearing my Mickey Mouse pink slipper on the boo-boo foot AND I got roped into buying antiseptic soap and bandaids for it....why isn't that crap "figured" into the surgical costs? honestly, it just seems like it's always something to bleed that last buck outta ya.......... 2 weeks and stitches come out.......YEEHAW...it looks good, little bit swollen yet, hardly red, but still stiff.......so I'll live, ain't cha glad

It is so NICE today, I could have kept on driving and not returned to work...boo-hoo on nice days being cooped up...

Pam had a scary Mommy moment, haven't we ALL had those...that is too cute, Aubrey saying she drowned......she is so funny......
