Test new level of member services

We do know what we are doing - true. That said, it was so nice to email them a list of the dining reservations that we wanted, they made the reservations (along with some back ups if the specific time wasn’t available), and then they called once it was all done. It was so nice to not have to book each dining reservation ourselves at zero dark thirty. Depending on the price, I would totally pay for this.

I haven't had difficulty booking ADRs or experiences at WDW in months and months now, granted I'm only a party of 2 (4 at the most). I do reckon that if I were booking stuff for a full grand villa, somebody behind the scenes could be helpful. Still not sure I would pay any price for it though. Each to their own!

To each his own, I guess.

In my experience, this wasn't worth paying for. They did make all my ADR's for me, but most of them were *close but not quite* to the time when we wanted them, and multiple of the ADR's they made were for 2 4-tops (we were a group of 8) so we would have been split-up to eat. I ended up manually altering almost all of the the ADR's they made into better times and/or 8-top tables as they came available prior to our trip.

And this was 2 years ago when ADRs were more difficult to get than they are now, so it seems even less worth it now.

FWIW, we are doing a trip as a fam of 4 with grandma joining for part of the trip and some restaurants were wide open for 4 at 60+3 but nearly impossible for 5 or 6.

Considering there are thousands of Disney travel advisors or whatever they call themselves on Instagram jumping over each other to do this for people for free, I can't fathom who would pay for it. Granted DVC members can't book with a travel specialist, but we also know what we're doing (or we wouldn't have bought DVC).
I disagree with this. There is not a single travel agent willing to help me when I am using my DVC points for accommodations and use my credit cards to get airlines deals using points or “buy one get one for $99” deals.

In fact… I would be competing against these travel agents!

Living on the West Coast, I also don’t want to stress about waking up and booking the ADRs and competing against bots.

So for $100 in the years I plan to go to WDW…. sign me up!

I agree with you that the main perk that I saw from this was that it alleviated the need to wake up at 3am.

But, like a lot of things in life - since someone else is doing the job for you, they definitely didn't put the same amount of effort into it that I would have for myself. It seemed to me that they just kind of settled for "good enough".

In the end, I would have rather woken up at 3am rather than have had to stalk the ADR lists for 2 months in order to modify the ADRs that they got me into what I actually wanted.

Now, if you don't necessarily care to have exact ADRs, as far as exact times and table numbers, then this might be great for some people.

Am about to send in my requests having had the email through. Demand doesn’t appear to be as manic as in past years and I’m seeing Ohana readily available at 60+1 let alone 60+10, how good have this team in getting exactly what they’ve wanted. Not like I don’t trust their abilities but usually i do this myself and don’t usually fail in getting everything I want

We are staying in a GV at SSR over Labor Day and utilized the service. They got all of our reservations for us (party of 8) at the exact times we wanted. I plan on reaching out to them again in the next week or two for assistance linking everyones app. So far, they've been great to work with.

How long before your stay did they reach out to you? We have a GV in January, and I’m wondering when I’ll know that we’ll have the same opportunity.

I suspect your success (compared to my lack of success 2 years ago) has more to do with WDW's improved ADR platform functions and maybe slightly less ADR competition as of late, than it has to do with this special member service getting "better" at getting the ADRs for us.

We received the first email about 90 days out - June 2 for a September 1 arrival. They asked for the requests a week before the 60 day mark.

How did they get on with your requests? Not that I don't trust their competency to get the reservations I just don't trust their commitment :) I've an Ohana and a Space220 Lounge, did you have anything similar on your list?

July 2023 we were a party of 13 in a GV and one BR (SSR upgraded that room from a studio) and we were offered the DVC concierge service. We didnt really need it but used it and it was great. We got all the ADR’s we asked for at all the times we wanted.
I probably would not pay for the service unless I was going at a busy time-like the GV and Studio I have booked for 15 people this Dec. 🤞

They got every reservation we wanted within 1/2 hour of our requested time. This includes Ohana breakfast and lunch at Space 220 for 8 people

I just sent in my list for my January trip. 6 of us staying for a week in a Jambo grand villa.

Fairly short list since my family isn't really familiar with WDW. I picked a couple specific dining reservations, Hoop Dee Doo, and requested a private Magic Kingdom Fireworks cruise.

I'm about 2 weeks from my 60 days out.

Looking forward to what they come up with.

Did they reach out to you first? What was the process?

Staying in a BWV GV in March 2025….
