Tesco points for mobile phones

Hi

Back in march i sent 4 mobile phones to tesco so that i could have the 500 points per phone well i'm still waiting for these points to be added and every time i phone i get told that their systems won't allow them access to the green clubcard points total.
Also tried e-mailing them but they don't reply.
Has anyone else had a problem with this?:confused:

I have had the same problem, but with ink cartridges. You drop them off in a bag with your account on them. 100 green points per cartridge. NOTHING.

But then, what do we expect...this is tesco:confused3
 
Ditto with a phone - wait till your statement arrives, its due soon, see if its listed on there if not ring the freephone number and let them know. I'm a member of a forum where a lot of people have done this and the customer services dept have added on the points for them no problem.
 
Yes we are having the same problem as we sent 3 phones in . :confused3 My DH has rang twice . The first time he was told it would take up to 4 weeks to put the points on the club card , the second time he was told that they will be on the May statement.

Thank you for this tread as it's just reminded me about them and will check on there web site to see if they are on yet. :thumbsup2

I was sorry to hear that you didn?t receive the Green points for the mobile phone/ink jet cartridges which you recycled. I can understand your disappointment.

There is currently a delay in adding these points for which we apologise. It may take at least 8 weeks and possibly longer. I can advise you though that the company you sent your phone to, are doing their best to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.

You?ll receive your points in the next Clubcard mailing, which will be in August.

Please accept our apologies for any disappointment this may cause.
 
We sent an email last night to Tesco asking about these points after checking our clubcard points on line to find that like yourself they have still not been added. :sad2:

Come on Tesco get your act together is what i say.:lmao:
 
I read on a Shopping forum elsewhere that the points are sent quarterley by the recycling company to Tesco to be added to accounts. Unfortunately, the quarters don't coincide with the Clubcard points quarters. I believe the last mobile phone recycling points quarter was the end of March.

I sent my old phone mid March so will let you know if it is on the May statement due in the next few weeks.
