A newborn (3 days old) was dragged away from his home by the family's dog. For those of you with new babies and dogs, be careful. The baby is alive, but the condition isn't clear.

I just heard about this as well - how awful. My heart goes out to the parents of that baby...

One of our teachers, who already owned a dog, decided to get pregnant. All through the pregnancy, she made sure to acquaint the dog with the baby's room and after the baby came, took quite a bit of time to acquaint the dog with the baby. Now the dog sleeps under the baby's crib and is very protective of him.
