Thanks Everyone! I'm not as sore this morning as I thought I would. I was so tired last night I headed to bed at 8:30 :cloud9:

Today's WI wasn't great, I gained .6 pounds, but that's okay since I know I'm bloated and next week will be huge. I'm still tired today and just YUCK :earseek: I'm sure in a day or two, I'll be back to myself and ready to lost that 2 pounds to get me to 35 pounds!!! Time for lunch and then off to bowling, so I'll update later tonight.

That silly scale!! You're doing GREAT and you KNOW the bloat fairy is responsible for that scale reading. ::yes:: Just keep up the great work and next week should be a great visit with the scale!!

Thanks guys! I really wasn't upset about the .6 gain, I guess because I figure it could have been way worse and knew I had done fine during the week, so it must have been all water.

Didn't get back to my journal or anyone else's for that matter, but today I'm catching up. Went with DH to bowling last night since it was his birthday. I had a couple of beers and ordered nacho supreme (what was I thinking :confused3 ) I didn't eat much, but enough to go over my points by a couple. Not worrying about it too much and will drink lots of water today.

I walked Katie to school and home (about 30 minutes round trip) and then bowling, so not many AP yesterday. Today I did about 30 minutes on the weights and 45 minutes on the elliptical, but because I'm not feeling 100%, I didn't push myself as hard as usual. I feel a cold coming on (mostly in the chest), so I did a good pace and still burned 500 calories. I went and tanned (got to get some color formy upcoming CRUISE :banana: :banana: ) and decided I needed a new look and got my hair cut. My hair was just past my shoulders and VERY thick, so it is now layered and just above my shoulders. I'm sure it must have weighted more than .6 ;) ;) Picked a few things up at the store (WW meals on sale, so I stocked up) and headed home. Jessica is home with a cold and a low grade fever (nothing serious), but I thought it would be better for her to stay home. It amazes me that she's missed more school this year (about 4 days home sick so far) than she has her entire elementary school years. :rolleyes:

Eating today has been good so far. Slimfast before the gym and a WW meal for lunch. I'll probably have a 100 calories snack in a little while and maybe a banana. Tonight is Del Taco night, so I need to make sure I eat before going. A local Del Taco restaurant (it's like Taco Bell for those that don't have one) and they are donating 20% of proceeds from 5:00pm to 8:00pm tonight to our school. Since I'm in PTO, I'm helping at the restaurant refilling drinks, cleaning tables, etc. I'm not much of a taco fan, so I doubt I'll be eating there. DH and kids will come to eat before going to swimming lessons.

Tomorrow I actually have a free day, so after the gym (I'm doing the Yoga class again), I'll be doing some laundry, run vaccum and maybe even read a book :earseek:

Actually, Won and I had this discussion last night. (I am about to sound completely pathetic here.) Won and Katie's godfather want to take her camping this year. I am all for it. However, I am not a camper. I like hotels with room service. Spa treatments are a bonus. We called Reggie to figure out a date. We have picked July 16th. I will pick up the Harry Potter book Saturday on my way home from work, and take the rest of the weekend off. I'll have 1.5 days of peace to read. I am looking forward to it.

Great job today on the elliptical. Get some rest, take some vitamin C and feel better.

Hey Beth - Your not even close to being pathetic. I'm a camper and we do trips several times over the summer, but last year, my DH took the girls camping Friday to Sunday without me and I was in my GLORY :banana: I couldn't even remember the last time I had the whole house to myself and it's amazing how clean it stays when it's just me :flower: He is talking about it again for this summer and I can't wait :cool1: :cool1:
 
Ewww... No Camping for me either! I will go so far as to drive to the campsite, set up the tents for DH and the kids and LEAVE! Hahahahahha Yep - I go home, have dinner with a friend, maybe see a movie, while they get to sleep on an air mattress that will probably end up losing its air, pick ticks off their behinds, eat burnt campfire foods, watch wood burn. Can you tell how sorry I am to not be joining them??? :teeth:

No camping since we have moved (thank goodness!) but I certainly don't miss those camping days! I heard a nasty rumor that Jake will have more Scout camping this summer though. :crazy2:

Hey, the only reason my Brownie troop keeps me around is that I camp. Our leader thinks the Marriott qualifies!
 
Hey Terry - I'm far from roughing it now. We did do tent camping for years, but about two years ago, we bought a 5th wheel, so I have a comfy bed and a bathroom inside :earboy2:

Hey Carol - I was a leader for 7 years, so I know what you mean. Of course Colorado has got some great GS property and we were hardly roughing it. As long as there is running water and port-a-potties, I'm good.


Here's my post for today:

Last nights Del Taco night went well and we had a lot of people show up. I was really good and didn't eat anything there since I had a WW meal before leaving. I did have some diet coke, but that was my first soda in a wee. I was dead tired when I got home since we were there from 5-8:00 cleaning tables and being good little hostess :cutie: Had a No Pudge brownie for dessert when I got home and still had plenty of points left over. Today I'm feeling better and the "stuff" in my chest seems to be loosening up a bit more. I did 15 minutes on the step (wanted to do more but had to go to Walmart first) and did the yoga class which was an hour. AFter I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes of situps. I feel good, but tired. I did get on the scale this morning and it said 175 (I have totally blown that Stay of the Scale challenge, but I'm better than I was before) Can't seem to get rid of this water weight, so I'm reducing my starting points, but adding half of my workout points back in and I'll see what happens. Really REALLY want to be down to 173 by Tuesday for my 35 pounds. After that, I'm shooting for getting under 170. Will do some cleaning today and then :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: LOTS of water. Tonight I actually have nothing going on, so I'm lighting some candles, got some music playing and as soon as I'm done cleaning, I'm going to relax ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Yep, we're dong the Western. Nothing planned for Key West (just walk around) We're doing Capt Marvin's in Grand Cayman. I think the girls will love that and we're planning to do the Fury Catamaran Snorkle & Beach tour on Cozumel. I heard that was great for kids. Nick and will do Palo's and I'm not sure about the spa. Maybe the rainforest :smooth: I don't want to schedule too much and not have time to check out the ship and just hang out.

Why was your trip rescheduled? It would have been great to be on the same trip, but like you said, it'll be great to meet you.
