Has anyone used crdits here? Its not on the list and I am wondering if its a typo or they dont participate. We need a little sushi in our lives!! :fish:

Teppanyaki is certainly on the list! It's listed under "Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Room". We're definitely planning a visit there in August :)

We ate here in December for the Candlelight Processional Package. We try to do the more expensive places using our TS as it seems to make more sense to utilize the DDP to its fullest potential! The food was good and we enjoyed the cook!

We just ate there last week and it is on the dining plan, BUT the sushi is not allowed on the plan. Just didn't want you to be disappointed.

Ahhhh no sushi? Oh no! Anyone know if its on the plan at Tempura Kiku? The menu over there looks yummy also.

Eek! My DH is going to be mighty disappointed to hear that. :( Do you remember what IS allowed on the plan?

Thanks, shoes99, that's very helpful :) Teppanyaki sounds wonderful to me, we'll see if DH is still willing to go and forego sushi. ;)

Teppanyaki was our 2nd favorite restaurant last year. Even my 11 and 7 yr. old put it at the top of their list! It was fun and delicious.

According to allearsnet, the sushi appetizer is only $7.50. I would have no problem paying out of pocket for a sushi fix.

The only thing I know was different last week was that the dessert choices no longer offered the Chestnut mousse or chestnut cake (I assume those may be a seasonal item). DH did have a ginger cake which he said was good. I don't recall fruit being a choice, but I may have missed that. I had the ginger ice cream (our hostess mentioned it was her favorite). It was ABSOLUTELY fabulous and I hightly recommend it.

decent amount of shrimp? I'll be sharing with DD3. She'll get some of the steak, I'll eat the shrimp.

I got the shrimp and scallops combo and found the portion skimpy on both, but I was at the end of the table and was left with mostly mushrooms (which I hate). The rest of my family ordered steak and shrimp or steak and scallops and their portions of steak were large, but only maybe 5 shrimp per person.

We used the DDP here is December, it is one of our two can't miss rest every time. I am also a sushi lover, it was not a big deal to add this and pay oop!

Have a great trip!

What a bummer about the sushi. We used the dining plan last year early August and sushi was allowed. We had a great meal there (the chef's entertainment wasn't great, but OK). We all had plenty to eat. DS even REFUSED dessert despite the persistance of the server for him to get sherbert :rotfl:

We want to go here but I'm not sure if we shold pay OOP or split meals. Do they still allow you to split here? Lat time we wntn ther we split a Donald's between a 2 2 yr olds.
One of my DD eats nothing but the rice, she would eat 2 bowls worth though (I may put her on Survivor when she is old enough!)
the other DD will eat chicken, veggies and no rice but she is 2 and doesn't eat alot ayway.
If I got the combo w/ Steak & chicken could I split mine with both of them? I would think it would be enough food, esp if DH got a combo too and "gave" me a bite of his shrimp. We do get the salad and desert (which looks pretty lame anyway)
so another question, is this a good OOP meal compared to the others?

I just made reservations for here for our November trip. We can't wait to try it out. We have a restaurant similar to this close to us and it's great. We are trying to go to different places and this is one of them. Glad to hear that so many people like this place. :thumbsup2

This may seem like a dumb question, but, do they put eggs or seafood (unless you order it) into the food? I have been to many places that automatically put eggs into the rice. I just happen to really despise eggs and seafood. When I go to certain places I always ask that I do not have eggs in the rice or any seafood. If they do put eggs in anything will the honor my request not to? Thanks to all that can help!

They didn't fry the rice, it just comes out in a bowl - no eggs, etc. No seafood unless it's what you order. HTH!
