Teppan Edo?

How is the food at Teppan Edo (formerly Teppanyaki), and do they still cook the food on a grill in front of you? If so how many people do they sit around the grill? Do they have a variety of food to select from? Thanks in advance.

Yes.. they still cook the food hibachi style and the selection was good. I think it was 8 people around the grill if I remember right..

We really enjoyed it and ate there 2 times on our last trip this past January..

i like the renovations made, but they made the menu smaller.

We switched our reservation from Mama Melrose to here while on vacation last month. We loved the old restaurant and like the new one too. I can't believe how different it looks! The food is as good as ever and they added the "yummy" sauce for the seafood that they didn't have before.

We love Teppan Edo and ate there shortly after it reopened in October. The chef still cooks at the grill and the tables seat 8.
The new look is beautiful and the food is still good.
A PP mentioned that they made the menu smaller - it is different. There are many more appetizer choices, the salad was much larger and fresher, but they did eliminate all of the scallop combinations (my favorites). I think this was the major reduction in the menu. However it was still good and we will go again on our next trip.
