Thanks!! I can't wait! We went last June for 10 days and of all the places we ate, Teppanyaki was *the one everyone insisted we had to go back to this trip. We have all been anxiously awaiting the new pictures and reviews!

No, I don't think so - I hope they start selling them! I am staying over this weekend, so I'll ask about that. The monorail is the thing I keep getting asked about over and over again!

What did they have on the kids menu? We were going to make an ADR, but we saw the kids menu at Teppanyaki and knew that our son would not eat what they offered. If the menu has changed we might consider trying it out!

Ohhhh great close up of the menu. I guess no monorail for my daughter. She likes the Teppan foods...the shrimp! I see the monorail only comes with the non Teppan meals. Oh well...she will live!

I am going to ask if they plan to sell them. That would be very cool! I don't know if you could still get the monorail to use with the non-teppan foods.

Does anyone know how this restaurant is going to work with the Disney Dining Plan? Usually, you get one appetizer, an entree and a dessert, so does that mean that you need to choose between the appetizer, soup and salad for your appetizer?

We used the dining plan yesterday. I had the salad, filet, and dessert and green tea. I don't think the sushi is included.

I was thinking they probably designed it that way, because starting in 2008 appetizer is not included with the dining plan. My people all love that seaweed salad so we will be paying OOP anytime after 2008 for that when we go again if we have the dining plan.

One thing to note - the menus right now are like what you'd get at a take-out restaurant. I don't know if they'll change them at all, to make them nice or to add/delete anything at some point.

Oh - I was told that the childs meal is actually in a Japanese bullet train, but it looks just like a monorail to everyone I was with! (and I have some TDL monorail merchandise, and it looks like those too).

DS7 is train obsessed, so I'm sure he'll be pointing that out to me. I can just hear now "That's not a monorail, mother, sheesh"
