So we have a party of ten and I read that each of these tables seat 8 - two of the ten are ages 4 and 2 and probably will sit on our laps to watch the "show." Is that going to be a problem? Can we fit them all at one table so we can enjoy this as a family

I would not recommend putting the children on your laps, it is too close to the very hot grill. You will probably be put at two tables side by side with two different grill chefs. Its still fun. Two high chairs would not fit at one grill table. The seating is 2 - 4 - 2.
