I have a reservation for Teppan Edo for my December trip. After reading some the reviews and looking at pictures of the food, I'm wondering about the portion size of the meals. We ate there in 2005 and we left being well fed but not uncomfortable, but there seemed to be more food on the plate than the pictures I'm seeing now. Those of eaten there recently, how do you feel about the portion size?

We ate at Teppan Edo last Saturday. We have eaten at Teppanyaki each trip for years, it is a favorite of ours. I was very interested to see the changes. If anything, the portion sizes were larger, not smaller. Without question the salad is much, much larger than before. It was also very fresh and delicious. There are also many more appetizer choices. I had the Tempura selection and it consisted of a very large fried shrimp, 2 chicken pieces and 3 vegtable pieces. It was great.
We each had a combination plate. 2 Shrimp and Sirloin and 1 Chicken and Sirloin. It came with stir fried noodles and zuchinin and onions, as well as white rice. I believe that the portions of the meat and shrimp or chicken were as large as in the past.
We were very pleased.
The new decor is beautiful. It is sleek, elegant and still Japanese. DH thought it was nosier than in the past.
We loved it and will be back again.

Were the prices the same for lunch and dinner and were they the same menu? Do you know if they offer an AP discount or accept the DDE card?

Hopefully-

Thank you replying back- you have eased my DH's mind!
