Just made an ADR here for the last night of our trip in less than 12 days! I had orginally left this night open but then as my trip draws closer, I thought it is better to overschedule than underschedule! My DDs (11,11 & 4) love Japanese steakhouses, so I thought this may be a good choice. I can't find much discussion about it on the DIS. Will we like it and the food? Should we try to somewhere else in Epcot that may be able to take us? We are doing lunch at Chef de France earlier in the week.

My family and I enjoyed Teppan Edo in February 2008. We will do Lunch there on our October trip. My kids said we must do it again.

:thumbsup2

This is actually our favorite Epcot restaurant. The menu changed slightly after the renovation last year, but basically still the same. I did miss the ginger ice cream - which was delicious-- but try the green tea pudding -- my BIL dared me to get it and, while it did not look all that appetizing- it was pretty good. The seaweed salad is a fav of mine and DH -- you used to get a small sampling in addition to your appetizer-- not now -- this is my recommendation, however, for the appetizer.

The meal is GREAT and has good entertainment value. Our kids love it and ask to go back everytime.

We were the first ones in as it opened in December. They do a nice little performance before the restaurant opens if you are lucky enough to get that time -- but I wouldn't change an ADR just to see it.

I really think you will enjoy this meal.

We ate at Teppen Edo last night. We loved it! The food was great and so was the atmosphere. The kids loved watching the food being cooked in front us. We each had something different and shared (so much food!). We thought the scallops and filet were the best - everything was very, very tasty. We left b4 dessert - only because Illuminations was about to begin (great vantagepoint for that btw). We'll definitely be back. :thumbsup2

It is one of our favorite restaurants and we eat there everytime we go to WDW... they do a fine job, service is good, and the quality is top notch..

We just ate there Saturday night. Food was delicious and plentiful. We both had the steak/shrimp. Our waitresses were very! attentive. My boyfriend can drink an iced tea in mere seconds, and he never had an empty glass for more then a minute. The hibachi chef was amazing. He was hilarious and he did all sorts of tricks, including making the most enormous onion volcano I've ever seen. I'd go back there again in a heartbeat.

Our family loved when we went in December. Our 2 DD (Aged 8 and 5) had a great time and loved the food. We have just started planning our next trip and they all said we had to go back next time.
