Teppan Edo luck with 9? -update!!!

Has anyone with a party of 9 ever been able to squeeze into a one table at Teppan Edo? It's 3 adults and 6 kids, I'm hoping they will allow us to squeeze an extra chair for one the kids so we don't have to split up.

Teppan Edo called me back! They said they set their tables for 8, but they can seat up to 10 so our party of 9 is fine for one table! The man was so nice, he asked when we were coming and he was looking forward to our visit!

1) Usually they can do it.
2) But, I have seen where they split up groups larger than eight.
3) When split, there were chairs in "aisle" space.
4) Thus, a safety hazard.

I just called a number and got a voicemail for the Japan restuarants!! I left a message asking about our seating so let's see if they call me back!

We went to Teppan Edo as a party of 7 (4 adults, 1 teen, 2 children). They sat us with a party of 2 (1 adult and 1 child) giving us 9 at the table. It did not seem cramped or anything. I don't see why they would not seat you together. Just ask at check-in. Good luck and enjoy!
