Hi - I have just made ressies at Teppan Edo - for dinner in Nov. We have never eaten there before (obviously) but I mean even prior to the rennovations, is this a Japaneese steakhouse where they cook on your table? Can someone tell me what it used to be like? I know you will not know what it will be like- Thanks

yes it used to be Hibachi style.

yes it is hibachi style and it was actually really tasty last time i tried it. We have reservations for there in November also

I was on the phone with a VERY friendly CM earlier 2nite that said the restaurant is undergoing more MAJOR renovations and the re-opening will likely be in November now!!
So, keep track of things here on the DIS and see how its going as it gets closer to your travel date to be sure you won't have to change the reservation. Good Luck!!

I changed my res. to SAN ANGEL INN. Can anyone tell me about that experience. It sounds really good with the boats coming by from the ride.I love Japanese food though and am sad about having to change

This happens to be one of my most favorite pavillions at Epcot. The ambiance as soon as you enter is spectacular, think twilight at a small mexican town with a "stall shopping" area (totally the wrong wording but I am HEAT dead here, LOL!
Anyway, the pavillion is lovely and you're sure to enjoy your food as well. Be sure to ride the boat ride too!!

Thanks guys for the heads up and watching the reopen day...anyone else have any info on what the restaurant will be like I like all opinions!
