Teppan Edo - Anyone ever been allowed to seat 9 at a table

We have a party of 9 for Teppan Edo. Ideally we would like to sit together. We have 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 9, 5, 2). The 2 year old would be in a highchair or in my lap depending on whether or not he took a nap. The CM I spoke with told me she put us at 2 tables but to ask them when we got there if they would be willing to sit us together. Anyone ever had this situation?

We had exactly that situation when we were there in August. We were all at one table. We put our 2 year old right on the corner of the table. It worked perfectly. The kids LOVED Teppan Edo!

When we did the 1/2 Marathon in 2005, we were 7 adults and a 5 and 8 year old. We sat at one table. It was great fun!

I have done 8 before and we could have fit another little one easily. The 2 year old usually eats of our plate if on DDP, so make the reservation for 8 if they don't let you do 9 and have that one on your lap.

Yes - we were only a party of 3 (w/ DD2), but there was a party of 4 and a party of 2. Our DD sat in a highchair btwn us. Didn't allow for much room though!

The corners were a bit tight but we did it. We were 6 adults and 5 kids, with one highchair. It was fine and FUN.
