I have a 10 year old who, while she is not incredibly picky, at some of the some unusual restaurants we are going to eat at, she is not going to want to eat the adult type meals. She is going to want to american style junk like chicken strips or cheese pizza and carrot strips or whatever. The menus say the kids meals are for 9 and under. I will not be using a dining plan, we will be paying out of pocket. Can we order her something from the kid's menu? Will this be a problem? I just want her to be able to find something to eat that she will enjoy. I don't want to pay $30+ for an adult sized serving of something she doesn't like, know what I mean? I get seriously annoyed with classifying a 10 year old as an adult.

Some restaurants will want to sell you double the portion of a kid's meal for double the price. At 10 though you probably won't have much trouble.

PP is right though..... buffets and all you can eat locations will be adult price.
