We are planning a family visit in November and I was hoping to start sketching in some touring plans. Does anyone out there have a touring plan that makes the most out of 10 day park hoppers? We will be there for a total of 14 days, plenty of rest and water park days in between all of our park fun.

Wanting to get a lot done, don't know when we might make it back.

14 days with 10 day park hoppers is exactly what we started with last November, we upgraded to AP's while there. Here's a copy of the itinerary we put together:

Visit and read basically everything on EasyWDW (free). Also look at touringplans.com (about $8.00 with a lot of free content as well). The unofficial Guide to WDW is great and gets you free access to TouringPlans. Basically you will want to pick the best days for each park. What you can do is post your plan and ask for feedback.

For 10 days you should hop but not every day. Consider:

MK 4 Days
EP 2 days
DS 1 day
AK 1 day

then two split days.

AK going to DS
EP going to DS

there are a lot of variations here.... Mix the park days up so they are not all consecutive at each park... One variation:

MK 3 Days
EP 2 days
DS 2 day
AK 1 day

then two split days.

MK going to EP
AK going to DS or EP or MK (AK to MK is the longest hop possible but still do able).

These are helpful starting places. I have been doing quite a bit of reading and i was hoping to find a comprehensive plan spelled out for me :).

easywdw and touringplans have daily plans available for one and two day visits to MK and Epcot and one day visits to the other parks... What they wont do is help you decide how many days at each park. Or if you did read them you might come away with 2 days in MK and Epcot and one day each in the other parks....

They do have information about best days to visit the parks however you need to map your number of park days into the best days taking into consideration if you are staying onsite and if so would you want to wake early or stay late as a perk of staying onsite or use the recommended days of the other two guides....

We usually go for 10-14 days and get 5-7 park hopper/water option tickets.

I am thinking of doing three days of am's at MK and evenings at Epcot with a break in the afternoon and then flipping it for the next week and then fitting whole days at AK and DHS in between.
I am going to get the touring plans subscription and use that I think.

It was just sprung on me that my mom, stepdad and two nieces will be going so I have to plan around them a bit now, but, I am super excited the girls get to go.

We have done two 14-day trips with 10-day tix with Water-Park add-on. We don't park hop. There are plenty of full days to see everything. We do come out of the parks for mid-day breaks so it feels like you are hopping. :)

We do 4 days MK, 3 Epcot, 2 DHS, and 1 AK. The other days fill in with the waterparks. You should be able to add the waterpark option to your hopper tix for only $30 more or something like that. A good deal if you are planning on going to two waterparks.

Have fun.
