I know they have the small medical fridges but I also know people who have said at check in the CM at that point puts in a call to housekeeping. Pity the guest who has not requested one or is arriving late and being first come first served and is left without
As far as a Milk or soda/ water fill one of the sinks with ice, should anyone have to do this no but it is a solution. Just a thought
This is exactly why I called the resort today. With our vacation so close, I am thankful that I read about this today on the Dis., rather than be blindsided when we arrived at the resort. This whole refrigerator debacle made me think about my grandmother who was a diabetic. Years ago before hotels had in room refrigerators, she would always have her insulin stored in the hotel fridge. What with today's health codes, I doubt that Disney could even do this for anyone. Believe me, if we did not need a fridge for medical reasons on this trip, I would not have even bothered to call CSR. Anyway, I just wanted to thank the OP for calling our attention to this matter; hopefully everyone will still have happy, and magical vacations with, or without a refrigerator . Okay Disney, time to crank up those ice machines.
